The_XXI
Very frustrating issue that has been victimizing me tonight, and I saw I wasn't the only one. GTA became a working tool for me with the editor so I NEED to get in game no matter what, and, you want to play aswell, so here we go:1. Download http://crystalrich.com/internetoff/or get ready to pull out the plug on your connection. 2. Launch your game (preferably in borderless), stay in the main menu. 3. Launch Story Mode then quickly tab out to go offline (or plug out your whatever). The story will then launch without verifying whatever it verifies with the Social Club once you launch the story (which is causing the crash and the log out). And you'll be good to go. TheMostKnowledgable
Is this causing graphics driver crashes too? (black screen, recover, crash?) I had 2 crashes today in the matter of 15 minutes, and the second one wanted me to login to social club after.
The_XXI
Well, not for me. Here I'm really talking about the specific case where when you load your story, your game crashes, and after your try to relaunch the game, a message telling you "you got logged out because you logged somewhere else" is displayed. My fix basically prevent the crash. Which is caused by a Social Club verification when the story loads. I tried to fix the problem by playing offline but apparently Rockstar didn't register my activation online. I even tried a crack to see if it would bypass anything but it didn't. iownapc
Is this causing graphics driver crashes too? (black screen, recover, crash?) I had 2 crashes today in the matter of 15 minutes, and the second one wanted me to login to social club after. The fix to that is to change your DirectX to 10 or 10.1 and to run GTAV.exe as an administrator. Stopped all crashes for me TheMostKnowledgable
ManiaC00L
went to my documents gta folder and deleted settings.xml, launcher.log than under profiles in same folder i deleted cfg.dat and pc_settings.bin. I then restarted gta online and when it loaded i went to settings and set it up on high textures turned msaa off and reflection msaa off. i turned clouds to softest which is important.... all other settings i maxed out turning them to super high or ultra with my hd 7870 gfx card. than also very important if ur having issues i turned the directx version under gfx to directx 10. ok now after launching a new online session and connecting too it so that all my settings were auto saved i exited the game.... now other than all of the tutorial messages resetting it had no negative effect on game and runs at 100 fps with no more issues.... i dont know the exact problem that i fixed but it worked none the less. one more thing and this is a bit trickier.... i did this as well and it absolutely affected my speed.. i went to system32 folder and syswow64 folder and added every file that started with d3 and ended with .dll to a zip so theat they were no longer in those folders but now saved in a zip... i restarted and if some of them wont delete thats fine just dont delete them... although i did take ownership of each file and removed them completely from safe mode which i don't reccommend other than as a last resort.. than i installed directx again from microsoft the latest dxdiag.exe it installed all the files again i than went into the saved dx3 zip i created for each folder and moved every file that wasnt their after the new direct x install.... soo all the files that i orginally deleted out of those folders and saved in a zip that did not come back from the directx update.... DO NOT OVERWRITE only replace non exisiting..... than i restarted and went to gta dir inside my steamapps folder and ran the directx update that came with the game just to update their neccessary files.... these two steps or some combination of them worked completely and solved 100% the crash issue.... plz share this hope it helps....their are still bugs in the game that this fix does not affect but that is rockstars issue.... plz list the bugs guys....*fleeca mission garage freeze....IF THIS HELPS YOU PAY IT FORWARD BY POSTING THIS FIX EVERYWHERE YOU CAN>IF THIS HELPS YOU PAY IT FORWARD BY POSTING THIS FIX EVERYWHERE YOU CAN>IF THIS HELPS YOU PAY IT FORWARD BY POSTING THIS FIX EVERYWHERE YOU CAN>IF THIS HELPS YOU PAY IT FORWARD BY POSTING THIS FIX EVERYWHERE YOU CAN> LOGGING IN UNDER OFFLINE MODE WWORKS... JUST DISABLE UR ETHERNET CONNECTION WHYILE ITS LOADING IF YOU DO IT CORRECTLY YOU WILL SEE IT UPDATE INFO AND SAY GTA IS OFFLINE OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT AND THAN YOU WONT GET THE LOG OUT MSG ANYMORE goole their are better details to fix this but it works when u turn off ur ethernet connection while gta is loaiding into story mode,,, must be done quickly...
