Game breaking bug on the Ponsonbys quest (PC)

I'm copying and pasting what I've wrote to Rockstar support.

I'm playing as the character named Michael. I'm at the point where I need to purchase a tux at Ponsonbys for a premiere. I've purchased a tux that I like, and the yellow marker that appears on my mini map will not go away, and doesn't lead me to the next quest (Google indicates that the quest maybe called Meltdown).

 

I've tried to go back to my previous game and I even made a new save by sleeping in the bed, and the yellow marker is still there, and wont let me go to the next quest.

 

I can no longer play the game with the yellow market still there.

I was wondering if anyone else is having problems with this same exact quest? Has their been a solution to fix this glitch?

I received a response from Rockstar regarding to this issue in case if anyone else is having the same exact problem as I am.

Dear Simon J,

 

Thank you for the response. I manage to fix this annoying bug by going back to my previous saved game (Before I got near the almost transparent yellow glowing pad near the store) and switched over to the next two characters by pressing the ALT key on my keyboard. As I went back to playing as Michael the game breaking glitch seem to have went away, and I was allow to progress to the next quest.

 

For some unknown reason the purchase that I made from the store seem to have been added to my previous save game.
