Why do i have no mission from simeon nor gerald?

I am tired of racing, which only gives me 100-200 rp each time.. It took me ages to be rank 5.. I see that there are three people in my contact list, simeon, gerald and lamar. Obviously lamar tells me i need to be lv50 to call a mugger, whatever that means.. However both simeon and gerald's missons are locked, and says "this item will unlock when simeon has a job for you". Now, the question is, when? Will it every has a job for me? I am so done with racing, and there is no way i am going to make it to lv12 like this.. I dont want to play death match etc, at least not all the time...

 

note: I did skip tutorial, and i purchased house and car for 1million, i will not delete this account and create a new one. I do realise (now sadly) if i skip tutorial, i wont get jobs from those npc immediately, but i am level 5 now right? Will i ever get a phone call from them? So far there is not a call at all............................. I even found simeon's shop try to beat him up, but i cant find him haha

I never had this issue, I always get calls from other NPC's. The higher level you get the more contacts you make.

 

Play the game, gang attacks, maybe survival if you are high enough level, steal cars and sell them, do daily objectives each day for RP and cash....

 

Do you really need people to tell you how to play the game? Thought it was pretty self explanatory....

So was playing GTA online for 0ne year and 4 months until I had all contact missions on my list. Don`t know why, because I passed them all, had high levelk and high skills long ago.

I never had this issue, I always get calls from other NPC's. The higher level you get the more contacts you make.

When you hit level 50, you'll be able to call a mugger from Lamar and then you select a player to mug (pretty self explanatory)

I've had this problem as well.

 

I never get phone calls / messages from Simeon, Gerald or Lamar offering missions, even though I'm currently level 12. If I phone Gerald the 'request mission' option is locked. There's no 'mission' option under 'quick job' in your phone either (I swear that was how I used to access them on PS3). I haven't yet tried joining a mission that I've been invited to by another player yet so that might be the reason?

You probably gotta finish the tutorial missions. Finish the missions you have on the map. The last tutorial mission is Trevor's Survival so if you see a T on the map, do that. I don't know how you can skip a tutorial, but those missions just appear on the map so you can't really skip them I think.

In pc, it gives me the option to skip tutorial. I thought it's for people who never played gta before, so i skipped it. I didn't know npc missions are relying on it..

You may skip the tutorial that shows you the basics but the missions probably still show up on the map don't they? Finishing the tutorial means starting the last of those tutorial missions. Well I dunno maybe on the PC it's different but I don't think they'd let you skip something and make the rest of the game dependent on it. Unless it's a bug. Either way look at your map for some oddball icons, or start a random contact mission from your phone.
