Are you still playing on PS3 or XBOX 360, though? For sake of friends, or because you haven't bought the new console or PC?

 

Why? For myself, i still want to complete my Pegasus vehicle collection, before i do the same on NG.

I'm still on LG for GTA. I've had a PS4 since launch. I bought GTA5 for the PS4 about a month ago but haven't opened it yet. Just trying to get all 3 of my garages straight for both of my characters before I do the one time transfer. I'll still play some on the PS3 as I have friends who don't have a PS4 yet.

I still play on PS3 b/c I don't want to spend $350 on a PS4, then another $60 or whatever on a 2-year-old GTA game, then another $50 for the online subscription. Thats too much money for an older game.

 

GTA is pretty much the only game I play so I think if I played more games I would consider it. Yes, I do have several friends that have moved on to NextGen and sometimes I do think about getting a PS4 to join them.

Once you have New Gen consoles, playing GTA on LG for the sake of completion is a waste of time, especially after a transfer. When you complete your collection what are you gonna do? Hop right on to your new console and your collection you just worked hard to obtain will never see the light of day.

I gave my PS3 to my sister so there's no going back for me. There's a few friends I miss playing with but even if I still had my PS3 I wouldn't go back.

I'm still on last gen, not making the jimp until it's worth the investment, currently all good games of NG are remastered ports, basicly the very same game with fancier graphics and gimmicky content

So far I'm staying playing GTA:O until modders fully take over all servers, then R* shuts down the servers and I'm f*cked until I can buy a new console or just stop playing video games all together but that is implausible.

I still own the game on my 360, but I don't play it anymore. The few friends I played with on 360 all moved on to the One. So now that I have the Xbox One and PC version, I have no reason to go back, and most likely never will.

Would never go back to PS3 for any reason after seeing the graphics on NG. It was really worth the upgrade..

XB360 is the last console i will have. it is PC for me from now on and i will not buy GTA5 again just for the PC version.

I just upgraded yesterday from PS3 to PS4. I haven't played online yet, just trying to get the hang of the controls again in single player first! My roommates are jealous.

I held off getting a next gen console for ages, basically waited till the black friday deals so I got a PS4 for a good price.

 

I had originally planned to hold onto my 360 for a while, but the day after I unboxed the PS4 and gave it a go, I packaged up my xbox and took it for trade in at the game store

 

Don't miss it. And by now it'd have needed another live subscription, so it wasn't viable imo. I do keep looking at an Xbox one as I really miss Forza, but they'll have to drop a good lump in price first.`

I'm still on PS3. I'll not buy a new console for at least a couple of years after it comes out. The single player games will still be as good, they don't degrade over time, just become a lot cheaper. The multiplayer games will be replaced with better ones.

 

I might make the jump for GTA 6, or if something special crops up on the PS4 or Xbox. But I doubt it will for a while. And there is plenty of old gen content still coming out, like Assasins Creed, that's better on old gen.

 

I'm pretty much becoming anti upgrade. I know I want the new iphone, but my current iphone does the same job, and it's just not worth the extra cash. My laptop is 9 months old, and it's not running any slower. My car is 6 years old, I just cannot be bothered wasting cash buying a new one, just to loose £10k in depreciation as soon as it drives off the dealership.

 

Newer is better, and I'll get round to getting better things, just not until I want to.
