The reverse can happen. I am using 64 bit for years now and I also play old games like vice city, San Andreas, GTA IV, crysis and all. I can also run all 32 bit apps. 32 bit is history nowadays. I cannot help AMD users much, but you can try to lower all settings, tweak the paging memory properly( set it to automatic) and close all background processes, run the game as admin give GTA V.exe high priority in task manager and see. And another thing is that pirated copies are not supported here. Sweet Bellic and tweakker

Can you please be more specific? Laptops generally become old and inefficient faster than PCs. Your CPU( although it's i7, but not as the newer ones or the PC counterparts) is bottlenecking, and your GPU isn't helping much either. However you can try the following: 1. Install windows 8.1, it reduces stutter( ignore if you already have it.) 2. Give GTAV.exe administrator privileges by right clicking it and going to properties then compatibility 3. CLose all background processes excluding the very important ones. 4. After launching the game, go to task manager and set the priority of GTAV.exe to high and that of LaunchGTAV.exe to low( do not kill LaunchGTAV, it may crash the game if you do). 5. Set all in game graphics settings to minimum and see. If your lag is fixed, try raising the settings bit by bit until you see lag again, then lower the last setting. 6. Test your gameplay with Vsync ON, OFF and Half in the in-game menu and see which gives you less lag. Please post your results, and if you have any other queries, don't hesitate to communicate! Try reinstalling the game. I know it sounds rude, but its worth trying. I faced the same problem with GTA IV and it was fixed after reinstalling the game. Sayak96
why my dvd writer is supporting some dvds and and not supporting some dvds why ?? Generally, when DVD writers get older, they only read silverback DVD that is, original DVD of some game or movie but can't read DVD with purple back which are writable or rewritable. It also happens with me. One of my PC's DVD drive has this issue. You have to change the hardware.
