I was messing with cinematic mode the other day here is the video.

I plan on making a good looking montage with some good music after a little more practice.

 

 

 

 

hey that was pretty awesome. i know how much of a bitch it can be to switch to cinematic mode mid drift. i love me a good ruiner drift. idk if you were slammed or not, but if not, try it. also, you have a great technique with starting the drift with a downshift/clutch kick tirespin, you should also do another one at the apex of the turn to be able to drift out of the turn. youll be happy with your longer drifts.

 

ALSO I REALLY APPRECIATE THE LACK OF MUSIC TO HEAR WHATS GOING ON.

 

I wasn't slammed mainly because I like keeping my cars practical with the bullet proof tires; although, I do plan on getting a car just for drifting(no armor or tires). And im working on downshifting at the apex but its hard to do in the cinematic camera. But on my next vid ill definitely put all of that to work.

look i know it spawned the argument that got the other thread locked, but your drift is no where near as good as RWD medias. you gotta learn to drop that gear after youve started the drift turn so you can spin the tires out of it as well as into it.

that was pretty awesome dude. good stuff. heard that song quite a few times in videos but w/e. nice angles while driftin. like the later downshifts too, makes you really push thru the turns

Nice vid, I don't have any suggestions regarding the drifting as it looks good to me, only thing I would say is if you're going for a cinematic style it would look cleaner if you removed the radar and HUD. Good stuff mate.

I like it, I never thought of putting photos in this thread but it's a good idea. I don't know squat about photo editing but if I was attempting feedback I would say it'd look a bit more dramatic if it was more zoomed in on the Futo and with a crisper focus on the car.

Some of you might recognise this video from my previous thread, But I'll leave it here since it's my first try with the PC editor.
It's a really fun tool to mess around with.

And I'm sorry to have closed the last one, but I had my personal reasons for getting a little emotional, so please leave it at that.

^ Good drifting as ever and that video editor looks like a great tool. I can see a lot of potential in it, you could recreate scenes from films down to as much detail as you felt like.

YESSS!

Seeing as the last drifting thread was cut down in its prime I thought there should be another one created for anybody that wants to post videos or discuss anything to do with going sideways in GTA.

 

On that topic, I didn't specify that it is a drifting thread as I'd like to see all sorts of stuff like powersliding and burnouts too. Whatever you want to share that is vaguely related to cars or vehicles going sideways is welcome here, whether it's a five second clip of a corner you took in a particularly stylish way or a ten minute technical drift track video it's all good.

 

This is my one and only (so far) video of my 'drifting', attempting to drift might be more accurate, but like I say let's not take the act of going sideways in a game too seriously and have a bit of fun with it.

 

 

 

imo, drifting is so much cooler when you are going through a street fairly fast and just smoothly drift around a tight corner.
