That's your opinion .................and i think the map served people well....i mean pc gamers look very pleased...........and people bought the game again on the pc .....and with big map and great graphics the game can run on intel hd imagine that.... rockstar sure made one hell of a optimization for V ( i think this a proof that rockstar doesn't care about it's customers) ......... and the people on the racing community never complained about how roads goes or how the map looks .............and are you trying to say you have more fun playing the 3d games over V i'm sorry but you are fooling yourself it's the truth here........allow me to tell you why.......if i offered you to play Gta 3 or max payne 3 you will definately choose MP3............ and if i offered you to play gta vc or spec ops the line or even rdr you will definately choose the other two games...........but if i offered you Gta v or any other 3d game you will choose the 3d game.......this doesn't make any sense to me pal.........i mean gta 3 isn't that revolutionary it was body harvest that invented the sandbox style it's true mate.........even the best game of all time (ocarina of time) doesn't have a chance to the games that released even in 2008 or even 2002.............you will only play it just to give some nostalgia not fun. Yes, they do. But V doesn't allow once you're done with everything the game has to offer in the single player portion of the game. I don't care about whether its true to real life Southern California or not, but more importantly, how much the map allows players, in regards to the gameplay - freedom of choice and the ways to interact with the environment than just being decorative pieces for taking snapmatic shots. There should be a good amount of things, in activities and content, and enough freedom and action to really have fun playing. Similar to the amazing GTA SA, and even VC or III ( Heck even GTA 2 ), as the GTA sandbox game, that will stay with you forever, and perhaps the greatest replayablity to keep returning for some more GTA SP goodness. It's clear you haven't even tried to enjoy the freedom in GTA V, if were talking about the off mission freedom of interaction aspect, how exactly is SA better if not just different. Can you stand on rooftops and yell down at people in the street? Can you scoop up cops in a bulldozer and drop them off a bridge? Can you face-dive into trash cans and fences? Can you give the finger to a redneck and watch him try to chase you on foot? Can you throw a ball across a highway to see if your dog can make it across without getting run over? Can go out and hunt birds or street cats? Can you see more than 50 feet in front of you? SA has things like the home invasions and lowrider competitions, but they're still a traditional mission structure as apposed to the more spontaneous freedoms in V. It just means you need to think more about what you can have fun with in V, rather than just do has the side activity tells you. You are right i didn't get how gta 5 has no freedom it's the most fun open world exprience and sa too for it's time of course.............i completely agree. Sure they created "every inch of it", every inch of the sh*t stain that is Los Santos 'county' apparently. we are talking about the map, not activities, if you want to whine about the lack of activities and interiors, go somewhere else, this concept map sucks next to V, it doesn't make sense, it doesn't exist, it has no activities or interiors, it doesn't look better, the layout sucks, is uninspired. simple as that, V map is not the best thing evrr, but is certainly not a bad map. I know I went a bit off-topic I was just using your post as an excuse to go on a rant about activities really Back on-topic: what do you mean it doesn't make sense? It's not realistic? Because at the end of the day this is still a video game and I would take a more diverse and exciting map over realism anyday, I don't care if one side of the road is desert and the other snow, as long as its fun. Take GTA IV for example, Liberty City wasn't just based on New York, its based on a number of cities. As long as the map has a few ripoff landmarks to show what its based on that's cool with me, there's no need to sacrifice diversity for realism, if the next GTA was based on a desert we wouldn't all reward it for being one giant sandstorm.
