AgentLemon
My PC: CPU: Intel® Core i7-3770K CPU @ 3.50GHzMemory: 16343 MBOS Version: Microsoft Windows 8.1 64-bit (Build 9600)Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 780 Ti (stock) My Settings: With these settings I'm getting around 40-55 fps... Is this good performance given the system I'm running it on and is there anything in the settings I should change? Thanks for any help!
daformer
Should post in PC section Try doing 2XMSAA and see if you can get higher fps. With that resolution, it should help fix jaggies without the need of any AA

faded_bro4life
Try turning off Vsync, that should net you some more frames. You also don't need TXAA. Edited April 24, 2015 by faded_bro4life
swirler
We have very similar rigs, and similar settings. I tend to spend some precious frames away with further draw distances than MSAAx4 tho. Id up the AF to x16
TempAccount
draw distance > x8 reflection msaa and fxaa (which looks like sh*t imo) also i'd turn down msaa to x2. i think there is also a performance gain for using pcss shadows (which are more realistic imo). my gtx 780 @ 1280 mhz probably has similar performance to your ti. i value draw distance over negligible effects like the stuff i just mentioned. i have to say... i don't believe that 40 fps is your minimum fps Edited April 24, 2015 by TempAccount
StellarRunner
Try turning off Vsync, that should net you some more frames. You also don't need TXAA. I've got the same video card and Vsync off give me worst performance. Edited April 24, 2015 by aleex96
swirler
Vsync keeps the tears away! Actually this game has unusual Vsync, it acts like adaptive with an additional buffer. I like it! Tearing can go f*ck itself.
John Angelo
Set grass quality to High. It look way better than normal and doesn't affect frame rate at least not on my PC. Of course you should try it by driving in areas with grass when you change its settings to high. Edited April 24, 2015 by John Angelo
SilverRST
Turn off MSAA completely if you have Grass on high on very high. Otherwise the game will lag too much when in grassy areas, especially for 1440p. I have i7-4770 @3.4GHz and GTX780.
AgentLemon
This is how things look with the same settings i originally posted but with MSAA x2 instead of x4.. it looks soo choppy it's bothering me. I can't seem to get it looking smoother without losing 20+ fps.
Cedimedi
Turn Anisotropic Filtering to x16. Only few fps difference, big visual difference.
AgentLemon
is there something I can do in the Nvidia control panel that will improve this jaggy AA bs?
