lastmanonearth
I`ve never seen one of GTA with the treadmill thing! I so want that, would be the only way to get me to exercise too. The field of view needs to be much wider though for it to feel real.
Heists
I wonder if R* might make something for Project Morpheus next year.
EF2000
I'd settle for Track IR support for the moment. But a Project Morpheus or Occulas Rift would be great in the future.
Entice
This is freaking awesome. Although, I would not like to steer my car with a gun. Would be even cooler if they had a way to strap the gun to your back and then a steering wheel attachment to go with it.
XMarqstheSpot
No, you don't want to settle with TrackIR. That's already old news. TrackIR isn't even a comparable game experience to the Oculus DK2 version. It's a completely different experience than what people are expecting to be, which is a fad like Kinect. TrackIR you still just watch the screen turn on a flat monitor, it's non immersive. I see a lot of people worry about the resolutions on HMD's, worrying about the quality of the textures making the experience non-immersive. From a daily DK2 user I have to say that graphics matter very little on an HMD. Even with the screen Door effect I feel totally immersed in the games I play. when you have 3/5 senses being used in a game then it becomes real to you in a sense. I encourage everyone to look into getting an HMD for gaming, it's an awesome experience.
paperbagdude
All that could be fun for the whole family. I want it so bad! SmokesWithCigs
XMarqstheSpot
Nobody "Needs" it. But you are missing out on one hell of a gaming experience without one. You won't miss it though if you never try it, so that's a plus. Definitely going to be seen as a Fad for a while until more people experience them and they become cheaper, and companies make more Native games for HMD's. funny story. 9/10 people I throw the DK2 on(more than 50 people at least by now) come out of it saying "I thought the graphics were going to be crap/sh*tty, etc, etc. My response is always that those are crap/sh*tty graphics and they should see what the consumer HMD's are going to look like. and another note, one of my favorite things to do now is to lay down and watch my movies. I can be comfortable and still have a big screen TV to watch on. Makes me wonder how long "Fixed Viewing surfaces" like mounted TV's will even be around. KageOni
I'd settle for Track IR support for the moment. But a Project Morpheus or Occulas Rift would be great in the future. TrackIR with independent head movement while on foot and I would be happy.
