Why is GTAO so boring?

To both do-nothing-but-gaming losers above me, I'm not devoting my entire life to GTA. Sorry.

And so you're saying heists only bring $20,000 a job? That's a joke! Lmao! Have fun wasting your pathetic lives away. I'll wait for simple native trainer rather than be a slave to the GTA monetary system.

namecalling, wanting to hack online.

Let me be the first to report you to rockstar

Nah, I don't feel like playing 200 hours to reach level 12 and buy a "high end apartment" to unlock heists.

It's really not that hard to reach level 12. You can also play heists without reaching level 12 and having a high end apartment, you just can't host them yourself. People like you are the ones who ruin gaming, crying because you can't have all the best sh*t from 2 hours of played time. It's an online progression based video game. You are not supposed to exhaust everything in one day because that would be terrible, terrible game design. If you're so upset about having to work towards things then maybe you should find some other game that gives you everything out of the gate so you can play it and throw it out in a few days time.

The thing is, you are logging in, get in your car and select a job. Then you do it, finish it and that over and over again.

I rather play story mode than this.

I think you missed the point entirely. It's a MULTIPLAYER game. You play with your friends and enjoy the game with your friends. If you don't have any.. yes.. it's better to play single player

Because GTA Online is a Grinding Simulator where everything is overpriced and you are nickel and dimed for everything and the updates inject new items only obtainable if you grind for missions to get enough money for these items only to feel sad and unsatisfied so you grind even more creating a vicious cycle called materialism.

GTAO does not and will not ever have mods, meaning I have zero interest in it since the driving physics will always suck and the thought of an anarchic free-for-fall mess doesn't sound like my idea for a good time, especially when R* screwed over SP in favor of GTAO.

Also I just plain don't have any friends whatsoever.

Money. You create a character, and you strive for earning money, so you can customize, and while earning money you will discover challenges you like that you can become a professional at. But for me Online has a purpose if you are striving for money. However, I wish the game had more challenges for killing other players, it's a bit boring how anti killing free roam is, things shouldn't get locked up by rank, but by challenges, and I don't mean challenes like, " Win 20 races to get TURBO", and when you join a race it's totally random who wins because of the racing settings. When things becomes random it gets boring.

as someone who had the game when it came out on September 17 2013, I can tell you that money is much easier to make now a days and getting what you want isn't that tough.

an armored kuruma, which makes every mission really easy is only 500 thousand which can easily be attained within a week of semi casual gaming.

The heists are a bunch of money that is pretty easy if you have friends.

there are more missions than ever before and the content creator isn't that bad.

There's problems with the game but as someone who took a break from the game for a while and returned, i can tell you that grinding for money isn't one of them.

Ducky is King

I am one of those 'hackers' yall speak of... I used Simple native trainer in IV. primarily to spawn cars, and god mode, the basic stuff. Spawn killers should be dragged out of their basements and shot.

As far as GTAO, I was a lil disappointed when I found out there was no 'free roam' and NOTHING was unlocked, unlike in IV.

While the console version of the game may be flourishing with GTAO, PC Gamers are of a different breed, and lumping us together with the couch gamers, and expecting the same results both financially, and gaming wise is a monumental mistake on RockStars part.

By the way, if I dedicate myself to obtaining a green check mark on every single blue icon that appears in the map in free roam mode, will I reach rank 100 by then?

This is why i game on consoles. The "special snowflake" pc b*tches who think just because they have a pc that can access the game files, they should be allowed to be able to change them to their own liking need to be Johnny'd. If you can't play and enjoy the game the way the developer intended, why buy it in the first place?

I'm find singleplayer boring because I can count the times I got chased by the cops during my playthrough in a single hand, and I've done half of the missions, dude, I don't wanna know how the game is after you beat it. Modders, prs save SP from the boredom and add some criminal activities on it.

Too much of the same crap with no context other than silly text messages that I never even bothered reading! And the loading to do a simplest thing like a one lap race takes longer than the race, screw that. I just go "to hell with it!" Y`hear! Also the fact that I`m just one of the millions of players playing the online means that my achievements will never amount to anything, so why bother? And I can`t buy the car I want until I reach level 70 or whatever, yeah not gonna happen!

Do you have someone to play with? Im playing with 3 friends and we're having so much fun. Even if some of the jobs are the same over and over. The heists are amazingly fun to play.

When you get to your late 20`s that ship has sailed. You find yourself alone in many ways and having friends who play games 1, have a PS3 2 and want to play GTA Online with you at the same time as friends 3 is a luxury.

It's actually pretty boring if you play alone. With friends you can have quite a bit of fun.

The other night I took a Lazer out of Zancudo and my friend got into a car and started driving down the highway. He said to try and kill him.

Took a lot of tries but it was pretty fun. Got me to better aim at players on the ground anyway :p My only problems with Online at the moment are the crashes and the disconnects.

Maybe this game is not for you then. I first got GTAV on the PS3 and I couldn't stand the online mode because of the very low FPS and long loadings between matches. Now that I got it on my PC things move very quick compared to the consoles and I am enjoying the multiplayer mode very much so. Like people pointed out, Online is infinite times much better if you play it with friends. Find a crew on this forum and see how much different it is to do things while on skype or something.

Because a large percentage is spent in load screens?

And the people saying he has no friends are probably too young to understand that people can't always have their friends online to play with, or that some peoples friends don't give a sh*t about gta online (ikr).

What?!

You need a new PC if you're stuck watching loading screens. The load times are SIGNIFICANTLY improved compared to the consoles. It's incredible how fast the game loads now.. I absolutely love it!

I don't like GTAO for two reasons

1. Money, Rockstar wants you to pay real money for it so they make it very hard to get in game (and jacked up prices on EVERYTHING online, and job payouts are ridiculously small) so you need even more money than you would in SP, again because they want you to pay for it.

You don't even know, what you're saying. Play "ABP:Reloaded" and you know, that you are wrong. A game, where you get maybe 500 dollars without premium account for certain jobs and you have to do this for weeks to earn maybe 50.000 or so. You have to play for a along time to even be able to buy a half decent car. GTA: Online is throwing the money away and it feels good to get 50.000 for just one simple heist, or 20.000 for one simple mission. You get over 10.000 for just one dead lawyer on a Madrazo mission. Payouts are plenty. You can earn 100.000 in no time on one evening with your friends just doing races.

I made over 500.000 just in a couple of days, playing missions and racing. My friend, who never played a GTA in his life, went Level 12 in now time. He is already level 27 and we didn't even played on every evening since release. Why do some people want everything from the beginning? Seems like some people haven't any patience and don't understand, that if a game should entertain you for hours, it should not give you everything from the start, but give you a motivation by unlocking cool stuff step by step.

and im just sitting here enjoying the actualy gameplay without worrying what rank im in.

seriously, what happened to enjoy what the game DOES give rather than what you might get later on just for the sake of getting it?
I am driving the same car i picked up in the beginning and using the same rifle i bought the first time and just doing the missions i like. with others or not, against my friends or not. i dont free roam cuz i dont have friends playing with me, but i just enjoy the bloody gameplay. i dont eyeball what i will unlock later. i enjoy the game mechanics, the challenge of the co-op missions (i play them alone so these are a tad tougher than with others), the cooperation of the heists with stranger even and the deathmatches and shootouts with others.

i am not a fan of races so i dont do them.

am i such a unique snowflake here who doesnt care about what i unlock?

and i got from level 16 to 22 in about 3 hours last night without even doing THAT well. money is easily earned even if you dont try, IMO.

i do completely agree that the loading times can be harsh for activities that can be pretty short. this is indeed a major flaw IMO. thank god for 9gag on my cell to keep me laughing between matches.
