GTA online KD question

I have never once checked on someone else's KDR. It's a fun thing for some people to focus on, most don't care. Some people care about race wins, most don't. Some snag an easy kill and run, others battle back and forth in a useless auto aimed PVP free roam 'battle'. Some fly all day, others don't even own a plane. Some spend hours with friends stunting bikes, others find that incredibly boring. Some memorize one DM and dominate it over and over against randoms, others run and gun whatever shows up next.

 

It's a big game.

The higher the kd , the more fun you have . Plain an simple.

1)Tell me, how exactly do you "use" k/d? There is no use to it... Oh wait, there is, I instantly kick high k/d's from my mission because chances are they're just there to troll the mission and boost their k/d stat.

 

2) there are many stats that don't matter at all, yet they're there. Or do you think it matters, for example, how high I fell?

 

3) I'm not mad, i'm entertained by you pointless, repetitive answers. (Someone asked to "stop feed the troll", no thank you, it's funny!)

 

4)I have a low k/d, mainly because I don't attack unprovoked and I usually don't retaliate because I don't want to waste my ammo on griefers. (You want to annoy a griefer? Just ignore him and listen to how he get's mad for not getting any reaction.) The thing is, I have lot's of fun by doing missions, races, darts, cruising, exploring,... I bet I have at least as much fun as you do, if not more. Plain and simple.

Bragging about a high KD just means you are an Uber asshole who kills people not looking for a fight then continues to kill mercilessly as the slightest hint of retaliation.

 

GTA is a sandbox and in a sandbox game if you have a high KD it means you are a complete jackass.

 

In an FPS it is perfectly respectable to have a high KD because that is the be all and end all of the game is to kill people. Or you are a camping fag depending on who u ask

That's how I choose to play . There are times for care bear activities but majority of the time it's shoot on sight.

More case in point about the uselessness of this stat:

 

Started playing GTA Online with my xXSuperJudeXx account. Probably have somewhere between a 1.5 and 2 KTD. Played a lot with hardcore, kickass free aimers and did a lot of experimenting with weapons. About average.

 

I switched back to my old school SuperJude account where I haven't played in DM's or TDM's, mainly missions and heists. I have like an 8 ktd but I don't get into senseless battles and honestly I never really loved the GTA DM's and TDM's anyway.

 

Same player, massively different KTD based on nothing more than what I am currently interested in.

 

Besides, anybody who feels the need to prove how much better they are than others at shooting in this game have obviously spent way too much time on this game and need to get out more.

Not sure if thats accurate, dont care really. I use to play DM alot now I just explore and hang out in free roam. Usually only kill when provoked, but i do get into the odd lobby war once in a while.

This isnt battlefield so it doesnt really matter to me. Even then its just a game, meant to have fun. Plus who really checks for K/D? It literally took me 15 mins to figure out where to find my own.

This isn't really the same KD thread as the others. This thread was about a glitch that people are doing to reset their KD, and well it turned into a "Does KD matter" thread.

 

 

Anyways I did an experiment. I created a new account. Level 1, skipped tutorial. My friend let me kill him 100 times. My KD is now at 100. I randomly joined sessions the next hour, and within seconds of joining, I was kicked 3-4 different times. Every. Single. Time. So yes, people look at KD. If its really high, they kick you, lol.

I sometimes look at people's k/d to see how much they care about being killed. If I want to grief I go for the players from k/d 3 to 5 if available. There's a good chance they'll get mad and fight back hard, and that's when free roam gets interesting.

 

I had a 4.29 guy stalking me for an hour and putting a $9000 bounty on me after I sniped him once last night. For me, that's entertainment. A 0.85 guy wouldn't do that because he wouldn't be bothered enough to try.

 

As for me, I'm 4.93, aiming for 5.0 and then I'll let it go and just play to experience more in the game, including dying.

My skill at this game is waaaaaaay up there with the best of them regardless of my stats (which are extremely good anyway), and I am sure that Buzzard is all talk... Especially after reading he gets his accounts modded.

 

I'd invite him to show him what's up, but he won't play free aim.

I have been playing since day one. Havent logged as much time as a lot of people but i have logged enough.

 

I have done missions, raced and parachuted to death. One day i noticed my kd at around 8. Thats when i decided that was how i was going to keep the game fun. I miss old gen passive mode. Current gen lets people use passive to get to me in a vehicle (which wasnt possible old gen) and force me into passive so they cant come out of passive and shoot me in the back. Before this was possible i never used passive.

 

Last time i checked

 

33 Ish days spent in gta online

Lvl 144 ish

Approaching 6,000 kills

Exactly 401 deaths by players

14.47 kd

Mostly the players with the high KDs are pu$$ies. They play dhildish and hide in passive mode as soon as you killed them. Not to talk about the superstars of the air which are totally noobish if you get them on foot. I met many players with a KD under 1 which are pretty hard to kill. So KD means nothing in this game especially with all the luxury features like lagging, invisible body parts and so on. So who cares about how high your KD is. I see players the last days with KDs of 1.5000000 but they cant play this game. I know such a KD is modded but why someone gives hisself such an unrealistic KD? Small d1ck?

Another point is that on PS4 free aim lobbies are merged with free aim assisted. I call this auto aim because it is nothing other than that not to talk about the sort of players that think they are best with their modded rapid fire auto aiming controllers. There are so many points that make the KD in this game totally pointless.
