Since your all new to gta online , ill explain.

Kd means this.

If you have a high kd, that means you kill lots of players.

If you have low kd, that means you die alot.

So in conclusion if you have high kd that means you laugh and have a great time in FREEMODE Los santos, If you have a low kd that means you moan cry complain throw hissies in FREEMODE .

Why would it be put on public display?!?

If you keep getting killed by someone with a high kd , it means you should leave them alone and find a new lobby or go into passive .

If you invite players with a high kd to heists or missions , you'll statistically have more of a chance of success then you would a player with low level kd .

For you "this isint cod" preachers, your right. This is better then cod, and sandbox game play is whatever the fc u want it to be.

Man most of you either play a lot of deathmatches or grief because I'm level 300 since '13 and still have like 5k kills.

 

In my experience the better PvP are the ones with K/D's in the 1.5-3 range.

On topic, my crew and I do lobby take overs often which results in easy kills which can help in kill death ratio. But like many many has stated already kdr is irrelevant on this game. No one really cares about it as it benefits no one directly.

Other than your typical cliched response, I do agree on one important point. This is a sandbox game, play it how you like it. I enjoy hanging out, exploring and chilling.

 

COD type players who worship Caydee are narrow minded peasants who have epeen and ego issues tied their self worth so they can be a "real player." I actually feel sorry for these types because they miss so many other cool things going on this game. Guns, caydee and epeen are so cliche. Only time I use guns really is on missions or Heists. Freeroam wars = epic boring.

I have an account where the K/D is 9. Know how? Once this rank 22 attacked my rank 38 and I killed him 9 times. Never done any other PvP on that account except that one fight. But you wouldn't know that if I didn't just tell you - you'd just judge me from the K/D and assume I'm awesome, a spawn killer, a modder, etc.

 

The truth is that unless you know how a given player got every last kill, you can't judge them by their K/D. Take into account the extremely unlevel playing field that is free roam, with its jets and stickies and rooftops and even a 'legit' K/D is meaningless.

 

No stat can tell you how good a player is. Chrome paint means 50 race wins, but was it 50 wins vs 16 others in various races, or was it you and your pal trading wins on CR 100 times? Skull face tattoo means 500 headshots - were they cqc with other players, or on unsuspecting shoppers from a rooftop 3 blocks away, or your CR friend helping you out again? There's no way to know.

 

I judge someone's skill by what I see them do. Stats mean nothing.

Not to talk about the superstars of the air which are totally noobish if you get them on foot. I met many players with a KD under 1 which are pretty hard to kill. So KD means nothing in this game especially with all the luxury features like lagging, invisible body parts and so on. So who cares about how high your KD is. I see players the last days with KDs of 1.5000000 but they cant play this game. I know such a KD is modded but why someone gives hisself such an unrealistic KD? Small d1ck?

Another point is that on PS4 free aim lobbies are merged with free aim assisted. I call this auto aim because it is nothing other than that not to talk about the sort of players that think they are best with their modded rapid fire auto aiming controllers. There are so many points that make the KD in this game totally pointless.
