I don't think Rockstar would go down that route again if they did revisit Vice City. I'm thinking the next GTA may be all about Las Venturas. Rich pickings for a modern crime story. A take on Chicago and surrounding Illinois.... It would allow a 'time travel' game and set up the potential for a proper Mafia tale. Edit : Thinking about it, if they did decide to go for Chicago, go 70's. A bad cop and Mafia tale would make a very good tale, with lots of shagpile carpets and loud fashion tastes to ham it all up. I have finished it several times( I still remember the map....) Tommy Vercetti was epic character.But what would you think about the idea revisit it in modern time? The vice city was set around 1986 if I remember correctly. Tommy got the control over everything and now the new GTA would go after his death how everything collapses and you need to get control over it. Maybe Tommy would be your mentor at start and take story from there. I think there would be good plot for this. Any opinions? Damn I need to play Vice again. If GTA take place in (VI)ce City another time, (this is the new gta universe since IV) Vercetti will not even have existed in this universe.
