Get over it. I remebmer when i first startet i promised not to kill a single Player. But then came the dailys 'Kill 10 Players'

Well its not.

 

Here is my story, went in to check it out, made my toon, and started the tuturial, on my way up to rank 3 I got killed 4 times of the same dude.

So from my hard earned 795 $ i have now 104 left.

The first shoot down was out side the first drug bust, second time when I do the second mission to buy clothes, so going out of the store he shoot me again, thrird time just spawn outside the hospital.

 

The funny thing I banked all my money, so I assume is my hospitalcost that deducted money from me.

 

Will I go back online doubtfull.

So yes the highly upgraded kid won.

I wasn't on 360 or PS3 when GTAO first launched.but did start playing GTAO when it came to PS4 and Xbox One so I have no idea what it was like on last gen. Used to die all the time and have no money for anything so had to rely on missions, robbing stores an deathmatches. So no sympathy from me op.Harden the fu*k up!

I'm probably mistaken, but I believe OP has an issue with how a new player is introduced to GTAO.

 

The GTAO tutorial attempts to give a new player a taste of what to expect from the online experience in the form of the introductory race with Lamar ("Mall or Nothing"), the introductory mission for Gerald ("Learning the Ropes"), and some freemode activities like purchasing clothes and robbing stores. (There's also the Cypress Flats LTS that officially concludes the tutorial.)

 

Included, is how other players can affect your online experience, as the tutorial is designed to force new players in a public lobby, where, as OP shared in his initial post, sh*t can happen. (Though, there is a method to complete the entire GTAO tutorial alone, without harassment from others, if one were so inclined.)

 

If you've decided that you're done with this game only after the tutorial, then move on. But, as others can attest, you will be missing out on some of the reasons why GTAO can be and is enjoyable.

OP - you're talking nonsense..

 

Ammunation has quite high level weapons that you can buy from the start and if you can use those, then even higher levels won't get away that easily.

 

and ffs, use passive mode if you're not ready for that yet..

 

Trust me, there's nothing more satisfying than unloading the autoshotgun into the face of a higher level expecting an easy kill..

 

oh, and don't run around in the open, you're sniper bait then..

 

Use your radar, watch the dots getting near you and if they get too close, get into cover...

 

and I'd start rinsing missions to get your weapon unlocks and level up - meaning more health and more armour storage.

 

tbh though, if I see a high level rinsing a low level, I usually go off radar and screw them up a bit.. they're about one level above Jet-tards that quit the session when you destroy their jet with a heavy sniper rifle..

Eh OP does sound like a crybaby but I can kind of see his frustration that he can't even complete the tutorial without getting spawn killed.

 

Bare in mind that it throws you into free roam after the tut with a regular pistol with like 10 rounds, you've got no armour, your max health is laughable and you don't have a PV.

 

It probably would've made more sense for R* to have you spawn into a private session to let you get your sh*t together & then after a little while offer to put you into a public lobby.

Why does everyone now expect to have their hands held in games?

GTA Online is very similar to GTA V. The icons on the map are obvious, the gameplay is near the same, the entire game is intuitive.

If you are getting rekt and can't even make more than a thousand (even though the store hold up in the tutorial grants $5000 or so) then the problem isn't the game.

I can see his point, it hasn't happened to me after the tutorial in GTAO on PC, it did happen to me a few times on the 360 back when it first came out, but it does suck especially by the same guy that early on. But in a lot of ways getting randomly killed can be fun, not if the same guy stalks you over and over and whacks you every time you respawn, which happened to me during the 360 days.

 

But 2 examples I do have where it was pretty cool, one time I was stopped in the 1st level of the red multi-story car park downtown just to put the cash I'd acquired in my bank through the phone, was just about to pull up the phone when *ping* a bullet hits my car, so I look around, can't see the guy and speed off out of there, managed to get away, that was pretty fun.

 

Next one, just pulled out of the downtown LS Customs and was casually driving over the overpass and *BOOM* me and my car get blown up by some dude with a rocket launcher I didn't even see. And I was like WTF? Then chuckled cos that was so out of nowhere it was pretty cool, plus of course whoever destroys your car has to pay the insurance on it

 

But that's the kind of random stuff that makes GTAO interesting.

I agree actually. I mean, coming here and whining about it suggests to me that the OP isn't gonna last long in San Andreas, but a bit more "hand holding" wouldn't be a bad thing. Halo 3 almost had it spot on by forcing you to stick to a specific deathmatch map until you'd done well enough to be allowed out.

All the dlc weapons on the right at the gun shop are unlocked at level 1 and are more than adequate

 

buy a special carbine, heavy shotgun, homing laucher, marksman rifle and upgrade them

To be honest, with the way the OP is crying, I don't think he deserved a proper answer. He's draws the conclusion that gta online is lame because of one griefer. And if somebody is grieving you in gta online, you don't need a forum to tell you to either switch sessions or use passive mode.
