trumpetblast
After looking at the minimum specs and deciding that my PC 'should' run GTA V (and online), I am reporting that I'm delighted to be running at 30fps (dips to mid 20's when loads of on-screen action, of course) The best bit? My settings are crazy above the in-game 'guide'! resolution: 1600x1024 FXAA: on Vsync: half Population density/variety : Max (?!) Distance Scaling: midway other settings on a mix of V high (textures, reflections) Vidmem usage: 2160mb / 1023mb *** obviously selected 'ignore suggested limits' *** PC: Macbook Pro, i7, GT650m 1GB, SSD 16GB memory How is this possible? no idea! I know this comes across as 'cool story, bro' but if you've got a recent mac, you CAN play GTA V! (and quite well) thehambone
TheMostKnowledgable
Because each frame now has 33ms to draw instead of 16 I use half vsync too, it doubles the time my game has to draw a frame, so I can push it up way higher than shooting for 60fps. Stop. Please. Others might think you look smart but people who actually know their sh*t, the stuff you post is just embarrassing. You're name is just a parody isn't it? TIL: Higher details = lower framerate. Do you spend your time just finding more convoluted ways to state the obvious?
