Vehicle idea for GTA 5, The Lamborgini LM002

The LM002 was designed to replace the ageing jeep of both World Wars. The LM002 lost out on the military contarct to the H1 humvee. The vehicle which is currently still in servce around the globe. While it lost out on a military career, It made up for it in the civillan market.

 

Only 301-328 of these vehicles were made. It closely resembles the H! but it very diffrent. It was set up in a pick-up style and could carry 4-6 occupents. It has a V12 engine taken from the Lamborghini Countach. It could reach 0-100 MPH in 7.80 seconds with a top speed of 130 MPH.

 

Why do I want this vehicle? Good question. As im sure you all know. The game has only 1 style of hummer in the game. And thats the Patriot. A vehicle that is a giant squar, isn't very fast, has No custimizable options what so ever. And in general is not a very good vehicle.

 

The LM002 is a diffrent story. It has the look of a hummer which many want, But has good speed, has custimizable options, Would add another off-road capable vehicle to the game. And would just be a uniqe vehicle to have. Theres what? 4? 5? Vehicles that have that uniqe look about them. The Dubsta 6x6, the Insurgent, the armored Kuruma, the Roosavelt and the panto. And the only reasen that panto is here is because its a smart car.

 

What would the LM002 offrer? Well a better vertion of the hummer. Another off-road/SUV type vehicle. A role play aspect. A uniqe vehicle. A hummer with custmizable features. Another vehicle that could carry 6 people.

Anyway, yeah sure. Would be good for variety, and it's a pretty unique vehicle that I've been a fan of since I was pretty little when I had gotten a 1/64 scale Tomica version. If we had the better suspension model from GTA IV and off-roading was actually quite fun I'd be even more for it.

Somewhat. I think that one was custom made for a sheik.

Not that I really dislike the Huntley or anything, but it's more of a crossover than an SUV, basically a Vapid Radius with a bigger motor. That, and isn't really an off-road vehicle either, although thanks to the stupid physics/vehicle mechanics we have been given even a sports car is a beast off road.

It looks slightly better original as per the red one, but it's still not exactly something I'm keen to see brought in..

Obviously it's slightly different, but there are similarities. Wouldn't be worth putting it in imo.

So a mercades and a hummer look the same? If you looked at the two. You would see that the front is diffrent, the sides are somewhat differnt. The ground clearence is diffrent, the roof is diffrent, the back is diffrent. The engine is diffrent. Now yes, same style, kinda. Considering one is made by hand for off-road in harsh areas and the other was design to be a military vehicle.

NO, not taht one. Im talking the normal vertion. And I fail to see how a SUV compares to a vehicle with a V12 and has better off road performance.

Better then more super cars that are no better then the last 5 we have gotton. Only recently have we seen anything that truly adds to the SUV/truck market. And honestly I want a hummer type vehicle, but the patriot is sh*t.

No. Remember the zentorno is built for speed, the LM002 was built for war, but never made the cut and was then sold on the civillan market.Lets try this link: http

If you think the LM002 would be faster than the Huntley you are misunderstanding it entirely

 

Lamborghini made tractors before they made cars. The LM002 draws on the former much more than the latter.

One of the ugliest cars ever made... it'd be perfect for this game, which is already easily filling its quota for ugly cars.

It'll be used for the same purpose as it's real-life counterpart if we had something like it - chromed up to sh*t and used entirely as a way to show off how much money someone has. We are already overrun with Swaggons in Free Roam, we don't need another.

In terms of in-game categorization, I'm actually not so sure if it would hold up to modern supercars. It could definitely do good as a regular sports or maybe even a late sports classic though. Edited April 20, 2015 by henriquedematos
