We're not a racing crew, but we have some pretty competitive racers and several genuine world record holders in land and air racing. We're open to negotiate race settings and we use all vehicle classes in crew vs crew racing events (except utility and bicycles). We're happy to run R*/Verified races, we're also happy to run custom races if we can get a few laps of practice in beforehand. On a serious note I'll throw my name in the hat, I'm pretty sure I could get a rag tag group together for some racing, we are not the fastest crew but probably the fairest ! I just like something a bit different over preaching about free aim and shooting players in the game. I'm going to keep this topic ticking over by recording results in a very casual fashion, maybe it could be a winner stays in on going affair, maybe a points system and format for running it could be developed - in far less casual manner, I don't know, suggestions on a post card if there's any interest. Result 1: 21/4/2015 Damned Brotherhood Races won: 0 Domestic Battery Races won : 6 Desuno and Davidcore dominated in a 5 vs 5 friendly racing showdown organised by us both on Tuesday night, Format used was this, 3 track choices for them (2 x Rockstar, 1 x Custom), 3 choices for us (2 x Rockstar, 1 x Custom), two playlists. Domestic Battery are now the team to beat: Challenge them here if anyone dares? I will update first post with results, a list of crews who want to take part, organise in your own time and feel free to alter the format as you wish, basically the rules are open and who ever wins is the winner, and is the team to get challenged here, 'Winner stays in' sort of rules. Despite the multiple racing crews in GTAO, It's not as easy to set up crew vs crew race events as it can be with TDM, so I hope this thread improves our chances. zmurko76 Posted April 24, 2015 Share Posted April 24, 2015 (edited) As DavidCore89 mentioned, you can message me on RSC or on this forum (I do check on it regulary, just dont really post much) if your crew is still active on the PS3. Our PS3 side is perhaps not as quick as our PS4 side with DavidCore89 and desuno1, but we have a few guys who can go fast around the track too. We prefer non-contact mode just to save us from any arguing over clean racing, but we are open to discuss any rules. Traffic/Catchup/Slipstream strictly OFF though. 4v4, 5v5 or 6v6, anything more is just asking for trouble with R*'s notorious connection issues and I guess we can gather a solid group of racers for any timezone, GMT or NA friendly hours. Nitty am I right in assuming you would like to put RRR1 into this, or do you think both a team from DDZN and RRR1 could be possible? I think it would be best if there was separation between the consoles, so if somebody on ps3 beat Domestic Battery it wouldn't knock off the XDBX ps4 racers off. There might be some interest from our ps3 players to do a crew vs crew racing, but our population on that console is decreasing, so I can't promise. If anyone knows any racing crews looking for a bit of competition, please link them here, and it could form a nice hub of communication and a way of recording results. I agree 2x R* + 1 Custom is best. Points System - Keep it simple is always best (use screen shots) 1st 5 Points 2nd: 4 Points 3rd: 3 Points 4th: 2 Points 5th: 1 Point Fastest Lap :1 point Time suggestion works for us. Fridays too if we can start at 6 PM GMT / 7 PM UK time / 9 PM Athens time and be finished in 1 hour as we have a regular crew event scheduled soon after that. For the moment we are 2 for shure on saturdays 18h GMT (14h for me, 21h for a friend crew memeber in greece). We both have mics. Let me check with the others and see if i can find 4 pilots. I'm ok with the race choices. But i do have 3 races i just created this week (based on Broughy's and Shaggy's) that are not verified. You can check them out with my PSN name DooXaa. I would suggest to start a "standard" race just to see if we can remain civil. If the first trials don't go well, we shift to "non-contact". I'm good witht the rest. I've made playlists, but not shure how the crew point system would work. I was thinking that we talk it out and everyone wright down their points. Last thing, i'm thinking of a private invite only session between us, so we don't mess arround with third parties between races and one person launches the playlist. DooXaa is my PSN, just give me urs so i know who's inviting me or so i can invite you guys. I will be online in around 4 hours. And i will be online tomorrow. My budy from greece will probable be too. But i doubt i will have 4 pilots ready. Gimme a week at least. We could race, make a job or a heist to get to know eichother and maybe try a private invite session and a playlist. See if we have the chemistry to race a track. Saturdays he finishes work at 2300, Gr time. Saturdays two pilots at 20h30 GMT. That gives us 30 minutes of racing. Otherwise we can still go with just a 2 crew battle between DAMN and XDBX so we get the ball rolling? I'll also have our list of 2 R*/Verified and 1 XDBX track ready by the end of this weekend, so we can exchange the tracks on Monday. I suggest everyone tries to do the same. That would give everyone enough time to practise them before the H2H. And do we all agree to have every crew member's points count towards the total score to determine the winner? If there's 9 of us racing, then have points awarded for top 8 finishers; 8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1,0 (and 1 for fastest lap). Or just use the in-game scoring (15,12,10,8,...).
