Why is the Kurama so OP?

It's an armoured car. It's not OP.

Want missions to be fun? Don't do them with randoms then.

I never asked if it was OP or not. That's not up for debate.

I asked why it was so OP and why would Rockstar provide such a car, but thanks.

But it isn't OP so therefore your question is redundant.

But it is. It's a vehicle which takes practically all skill out of many missions. Maybe you misunderstand what OP means?

Maybe we could agree to disagree, as tremendously fun this has been.

I can't make this any simpler - it's an armoured car. Of course you'll not take any or much damage in it. If you did, it wouldn't be armoured. Therefore it is not OP. If anyone is misunderstanding what OP means, it's you.

I'll give this one last shot.

Giving someone an in game item which essentially amounts to invincibility on an inordinate amounts of occasions, is OP.

This item which means you are invincible could be an armoured car, a cloak, or a lollipop. So (slowly), its not the item that is important here, its the fact its overpowered in the context of the game.

Yes,yes, yes it's an armoured car. I get that.

That part is really not important, but thanks.

It's far from invincible - and RPG or aiming at the windows will see off anyone inside. Again, as I and others have pointed out, it is not OP. As the Kuruma is not OP, it is impossible to answer the question you have posed.

Well that's my point entirely. You only want to play for money so the fact its OP suits you. That's fine.

The fact you are bored of the missions is neither here nor there, sorry.

Heists are irrelevant to this topic also. But like I said, thanks for reinforcing my point.

Okay, let's go over this one last time:

You made the point that the Kuruma is making "large parts of the game redundant". No, the game was already redundant.

You made the point that the Kuruma is making missions too easy. No, missions were always ridiculously easy.

You made the point that the Kuruma was OP, but OP in relation to what? IMO, OP means that it's stronger or more powerful than it should be, but it's an armored f*cking car. Please tell me how the Kuruma is any more powerful than an armored car should be?

It still blows up after one explosive, it can still be mini gunned to oblivion in mere seconds, so how? It takes an appropriate amount of firepower to destroy the Kuruma as any armored car would, so get off this whole "it's indefinitely OP".

Yeah, when compared to a non-armored car it's OP, but as an armored car it's exactly as it should be.

My 2c, I think R* did it on purpose to refresh the missions as best they can, I love riding on top of NPC's and just sitting there until they die ...

I agree with what people had said above, it brings a complete different way of doing things and having fun while doing missions, I try use my Kuruma in every mission just to see how it changes it up, try something different.

Changes super boring missions into something fun .. and don't play with randoms. Now you can do RR without wasting tons of money on RPG's ..

Interesting take on things, thanks.

There are plenty of other OP vehicles and weapons like the tank, buzzard, rocket launcher, mini gun etc... If you don't want to play with other people who will use those items then you shouldn't play with other people. I think what you really want is for us all to agree with you that the vehicle is OP. And... Well for an NPC yeah its hella OP. You as a high ranked player are OP against any NPC in the game.

No different than anybody else using a car with a BP rear. I've seen everyone use any advantage they can get when it comes to missions. Why would you not? Staying alive is sort of the point of assisting others anyway. You're no help dead. AI is also crazy skillful with a gun the way it is.

If you want to roll up in some cabrio to get your ass wasted before accomplishing anything, be my guest. However, you will not be doing such retarded nonsense in my missions.

It's also far from OP because you can still be killed out of it quite easily.

Basically all the OP was saying is it makes you almost invincible to NPCs and anyone who has used it on missions would know this. I do find it strange too as it make's missions almost child's play. Rockstar made it this way so it won't change unless they want it to.

What the OP doesn't seem to understand is that the term OP doesn't apply to the car in the OP. It would probably benefit the OP to learn the definition of OP, don't you agree, OP?

Yeah we get it mate. With your silly wee pictures proving to all and sundry you have mastered the game and that everything is oh so easy.

The game is clearly not redundant to lot of people OK? The fact it so easy to you so why not let's throw in a near invincible car (context please) is completely irrelevant to this topic.

People despise boasters.

I'm sure we are all delighted to be in the presence of such a luminescent player as yourself but if mission are so easy the why do I see people getting killed ALL the time when I'm playing?

I reallybhave little time for people getting off on saying how good they are and how easy everything is.

If you could simply stick to the f*cking topic that would be completel amazing, a bit like yourself.

Logically if the missions are SO easy, the the last thing we need is a near f*cing invincible car, do we?

It's actually rather fun being able to go straight into the lions den in a Kurama and survive being shot to sh*t without getting killed in 0.5 seconds.

I'd love to have an Insurgent with the window armoiur of a Kurama - the near perfect mission (& trolling) machine :D

Sorry guys, I agree with OP that this car is a bit OP. It just made some hard missions to be easy mode now. Such as death from above and stock (you can drive all the way to the stairs which helps a lot!)

However, they shouldn't nerf it. Instead they should just add an option in the mission menu to disable the usage of armored vehicles. I think this will solve the problem.

Quite a few missions I enter have one guy in a Kurama just speeding in amongst the bad guys and sitting shooting everyone out of the window until everyone is dead.

Zero skill and zero fun.

Why have Rockstar given people such a powerful car to people which makes large parts of the game redundant?

It's a bit of a gamebreaker which is a real shame.

If you start a mission and someone has a Kurama you may as well put down the pad and let them get on with it as you are barely required.

Thoughts guys?

lol

It's not powerful and it's not a game breaker.

Haha fair enough mate. At least you have the balls to just say it like it is.

You want to use any advantage and if the Kurama is the car to do that, the you are having it.

Yeah but you could do Death From Above in a tank since the very beginning (yes you can get the tank right round to the swimming pool, you drive clockwise round the house to get to it)

Also, the Savage has a made a ton of missions piss easy - Base Invaders, Los Santos Connection, Artificial Scarcity, Cleaning the Cat House, Cops Capacity, Crystal Clear Out 1+2+3, Judging The Jury, Lost MC RIP, Mixed Up With Coke, Trash Talk etc. etc.

Just because the vehicles are there and you happen to own them it doesn't mean you have to use them.

BTW,It would be KINDA OP If you could throw Explosives out of it (Sticky Bomb and such),but you cant, you can only use Pistols and SMG for drive-bys.

More like Drive Up's than Drive By's though. Drive up and kill every NPC in the area with zero threat to you and then get out you car and blow up what you need.

Maybe Rock star truely want everyone to be invincible in the next game. Can't wait for the smart bomb they will release in the next update.

Just press R2 to clear all the enemies as soon as you start the mission and then walk or drive up to the yellow dot to complete your mission. Or take the Kurama, same thing really.

Like an earlier poster said...who cares about skill in a video game?

Thank god IQ is not a barrier to playing GTA.

I'm confused as to why the OP created this thread. Based on his responses he didn't want a discussion he just wants everyone to agree with him.

Yes..and your problem appears to be off topic meaningless drivel. Buddy :)

Please don't get confused. This was a thread to ask WHY it was OP, not whether it was OP or not. If you don't think it's OP then clearly there are better threads deserving of your attention (and less confusing for you.)

You people and that call of duty term, boils my blood.

OP has been around for years and long long before COD

Maybe but it's a term used mostly in the call of duty community. And I never heard it widely used in gaming except for cod games. I never played madden with my buddies on ps1 and say wow Terrell Davis is "op".

It's op because of the amount of grief you can do with it.

I have a problem with it because I don't want to get sent in bad sport. If I get it again, It's 64 days in there.

For the money, I don't care too much about the insurance cost. It's just that damn bad sport.

Yeah but you did feel comfortable just spamming a thread and classifying me as "you people" despite me never having played COD. You just wanted to be angry and vent anonymously at someone because, well the internet let's you do that.

OP is an extremely general gaming term. You never said it when you played? Who gives a f*ck. Not really enough of a reason for you to just jump to assumptions was it. Dearie me.

an armored car functioning exactly how it should? god forbid

Ever so slightly missing the point here, but I'm guessing you know that.

Guys! Why are my characters so OP? They can sprint without getting tired!! So game breaking!!!

Guys! Why are the guns are so OP? I can shoot without it having a chance to stuck! So unrealistic!!!

Guys! Why are the vehicles are so OP?! It can keep running top speed without gas! This is ridiculous!!!

Guys! Why are Auto-Aim are so OP?! I can literally automatically aim at player and NPC! This is awful!!!

There you go. More problems on your shoulder to think about.

Thanks for that effort. However none of those "problems" turn missions into a zero skill jaunt, which is the point.

I get you can't answer that and instead you just want to denegrate and deflect. A fairly normal response when you don't want to, or can't, engage properly.

All good.

These days, if you blow up enough cars to get in bad sport, you deserve it. You'd actually have to try pretty damn hard to get in

Anyways this is pointless US going "off topic" and all ;) oh wait, that only implies to me because you said so.

EDIT: OP is a term that means I don't agree and something should be done to "fix" the issue. Don't confuse it for a legit reasoning.

Right? But people want to bitch about everything till it gets f*cked up with patches that will render it useless. That's gaming at its finest these days.
