Error Code 17?

So after 2 hours of waiting for GTA V to finally finish installing from Steam, I was ready to go in the PC version, or so I thought. When I pressed the play button, I saw the GTA V sign, and then the game crashed. Afterwards, a window popped up and asked me if I would like to play in "safe mode". I accepted, the the game seemed to load normally. I went through all the loading screens and such, until those infamous "black screens with yellow text" messages showed up. It stated something about a "Social Club Error" and a "Code 17".

 

 

Anyone else have this or at least know what this means?

 

I meet all the system requirements btw.
