Eye in the sky Gamebreaking Glitch

In the Eyes in the sky mission, right after identifying Franklin as involved in Public Exposure with the thermal Police Camera mounted on a helicopter as Trevor, the next step is to identify some targets down town, but no targets are there, there's nobody, only the blue squares that are supposed to be around them. Clicking RT on the squares to initiate the scan just does nothin, and no key does anything, no dialogue.

 

If I point the helicopter out of the map, it fails the mission, and done 3 times, suggests me to skip, but when I skip, I only get a black screen with a rolling loading logo that never ends (waited a lot), at this point I need to kill the game process to get back in.

 

As I can't finish the mission or skip it, I can't keep going in the story mode, I need a fix real bad

I am having the same problem here! Tried failing the mission for 3 times to skip but encountered black loading screen that went on for ages.

 

Anyone having the same problem/can help?

Check your game files' integrity via Steam, if it's a non-steam version and all else fails consider re-installing.

Yup turns out some of the files are missing. Re-downloaded them and the mission seems to be working now!

Braindawg said how to fix it, if you're on steam then verify the game file integrity there (you can look up how to do that), otherwise do it on the rockstar launcher. If all else fails, a reinstall should get you the files.
