Too many British people in Los Santos

On a serious though do you guys not prefer listening to us say the occasional "bollocks" than to listen to bare hoodrats ending their sentence with "nigga" down the mic?

I'll take a brit in their heaviest accent botching the star spangled banner over them uneducated morons that drop the n word every two seconds. Them people I f*cking hate and will put down each and every time.

Said it on here before, but one of the funniest things I heard was an American squeaker, complete with N words every other sentence, trying to wind up a welsh girl, complete with the lines of not sounding English, and then a bad attempt at a sheep joke. She was just baiting enough to get him going, Looking at the map hardly anyone in the lobby was moving, think they were all listening like it was a radio show.

Have you got anything better to do than complain about the nationality of the npc's of Los Santos

...wanker?

I like to pretend im British in game chat.

Classy as f*ck amirite?

I'm British but I usually get called a British "faggit" everytime I open my mouth. Mostly from Americans.
LMao sorry but this is funny

but f*ked up at the same time

I know not all Americans are like that. I play with a few. They like to mimic my accent. I sh*t myself laughing at their attempts.

I'm British but I usually get called a British "faggit" everytime I open my mouth. Mostly from Americans.

That's a shame, but they're not all like that, the group of friends I made playing heists together are all lin the US and at least one of them think I have cool accent because I'm British :)

majority are though. I only ever made one american friend online but lots of british/euro people. Mostly other kiwis and aussies though because timezones and all that.

Most americans online are actually huge jerk offs. They all tell me to go brush my teeth then when I say Im not british Im a kiwi/ New Zealander 80% dont even know where it is on a map FFS.

I'd be able to smell the stienlager through the mic.

I'd tell ya to get that sheep outta yer wellies. Then tell yo to go brush yer teeth. Just cause.

Nothing wrong with British people's teeth. My dentist's says mine are just fine. Even got sticker because I was such a good little girl during my visit.

You might want to get those grammar skills polished. Wanker.

No there's definetly a ton of British players too, I usually hunt them down screaming something about the boston tea party or 1776 hahhaa

And I usually hunt a few of you "fa**ots" by reminding you that you got your ass kicked by the Vietcong. :rol:

Too soon on the vietcong thing.

Hence the eye roll.

Im not British. Im Australian. But i do live in England and on that right the OP of this thread is a C**t. Can't handle another accent. Wanker.

This is the kind of sh*t that makes people hate America. No offence to anyone but the OP

While i agree with what your saying the thing that gets me is the double standard, An American says something like the OP or an insult to someone about their accent and its being a "typical ignorant Americ*nt". Where as if someone from another country starts talking sh*t on an American everyone has a big old laugh about how he is an "ignorant Americ*nt".

I try to judge everyone on a case by case basis not based on something frivolous :-/

You do know that Los Santos is not a real place, don't you? Therefore, Los Santos isn't 'in' America.

Yes it is in America. They mention it many times in GTA V, let alone the other games.

Being stubborn can often be considered a virtue (i.e., tenacious, principled, etc). On the other hand, being ignorant is apparently considered a virtue in parts of America (I'm American BTW) as well as in parts of the GTAV Forum :p

See my point, American makes a derogatory generalization about an entire country based on his experience and he is being the "stereotypical stuck up arrogant American", Someone from another country makes a derogatory generalization about Americans and it is acceptable?

double standard

This. 1000 times this. It isn't just on this forum either. You talk crap about Americans and everyone will join in. An American talks sh*t about someone and they're automatically seen as a racist, ignorant, douche.

I don't care where you're from. I think you're an ignorant asshole if you find it okay to down an entire country just because you've had bad experiences with people from there.

True but I just meant I'm not ignorant towards others accents etc. I understand were all different and I don't pass judgment.

In fact it sounds like everyone on the streets is British

It drives me mad! Is it too much to ask for Americans in..... America?!?

Edit: I've never been to Northern Cali so I have no idea how the people are up there.

Outside of the major cities, Northern Cali is rural for the most part, but I can't speak for how the people act since I live in Washington State. I can say this though: the more you go north from Los Angeles, the more people tend to get laid back, but I hear San Diego is really chill. People here in the Seattle and Portland areas are really laid back, more so in Portland, so I guess people can take that any way they want to.

On this whole nationalism thing going on, it's not fair to say all Americans are bad people when the sample pools being used consist of jerks on the internet/video games or the mass media. We do have a lot of stupid people, that is true, but what country doesn't? Besides, they shouldn't represent the whole nation... but people love to take the negative things out of a group and use that to represent them. It's getting pretty old.

Portland looks great from watching "Grimm "

Lol!

I'm really not enjoying the "all Americans are ignorant and arrogant" anymore than I'm enjoying listening to the arrogant and ignorant examples within this thread.

I'm English btw.

If you're wondering about metric/imperial measurements they were developed in Britain, hence the term Imperial. They worked fine for measuring land, cloth and beer; but made engineering and science more complicated than they could be with the decimal metric system - that's why we changed (and also why we still buy pints of ale!)

We drive on the left because on our crowded roads it was safer for coaches to pass right side to right side so the coachman's whip was whipping away from the other coachman as a righthanded person will whip from right to left.

Americans drove either side, there are many early right hand drive american cars, but as the left hand drive model t became so prevalent it was sensible to standardise driving on the right in the states.

You see, no one is better or cleverer, we just had different conditions to deal with. ...
