Libertyjam
I have a major problem with my performance in this game, everything is fine within the first 30 minutes of gameplay, but eventually, I'll start getting random frame drops, then soon they start to get real serious. I always have to restart the game to stop this from happening. Any fixes out there for this? r0llinlacs
Find a graphic setting, change it, apply it, change it back, apply it, boom fixed. I use the refresh rate setting. For me (4k) I change refresh rate to 29hz, apply it, change it back to 30hz, apply it, and fixed.
fefenc
The recent update ruined the game optimization, it was fine before the update. You need to wait for R* fix the optimization bug.

vLaDz
Yep it does that to me, i run it at Very High with 4x MSAA with all Adv. Settings Off - 50 FPS Max lowest 33 while climbing mountains. Yet after 30 mins it starts stuttering and freezing for 1-2 sec, was PERFECTLY fine before the update.
Libertyjam
I have an 8GB video card, which is weird... my game is only detecting 2047mb video memory. And my text is white for some reason. saihtam92, on 19 Apr 2015 - 4:29 PM, said: You have no graphics card, that's your problem... Seriously: whats your Graphics Card? Sorry... OldMagickBeard
I get the same problem every now and then with my 750 ti 2gb. At one point I had to restart my whole computer because the game kept crashing and I had terrible stuttering/frame drops... and since then the performance has been a lot better. cp1dell
The recent update ruined the game optimization, it was fine before the update. You need to wait for R* fix the optimization bug. It was like this before the update. The game has a memory leak. Regardless of what settings you choose, or what sh*t you force through your graphics drivers - there are people who get extreme stuttering and frame drops after playing for a certain amount of time. Everything runs fine at first, but gets real hectic after a while. There's a couple temporary fixes out there from what I've seen. Switching to DX Level 10.1 in the options menu, turning down particle and grass quality to normal to slow down the leak, crap like that. The one I'm using right now is a commandline.txt file in the game's directory with -memrestrict 629145600 -memrestrict 629145600 (for high texture) -memrestrict 314572800 (for medium) -memrestrict 209715200 (for low) Seems to be working okay. But I've heard switching to DX 10.1 works well too. Personally, I'm not using that method since it forces you to have PS360 amounts of vegetation, no tessellation, no DOF and such.
