Is there a way to change character appearance?

Is there still a way to change how my character looks (skin color, gender)?

In the city known for celebrities and plastic faces, we should be able to change our characters whenever we want. Even if there is a cost involved like real plastic surgery.

I agree. I'm not sure why we're forced to adopt one look for our character when it comes to gender and skin color/race. I think it's because Rockstar planned on making people pay for 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc. characters.. and intended for people to spend more time playing to level up those characters, etc.

 

But it'd be nice if we had the option to freely change our character's skin colors, gender, etc.

1. Starting from Story Mode, go to the start menu, and select Choose Character
2. You will need a second character which you have transferred or created, and select that character, and it should allow you to change the features of that character
3. Once you features menu has came up for that character, go to your Xbox Setting, Network, Go Offline, and instantly Go back online or for ps4 go to network and uncheck the connect to network button.
4. After you've done that, go back to GTA, and you character should still be there, and it will not let you do anything, and after a few seconds, it will turn to a black screen
5. After the black screen appears, your character you want to change should be walking into the room where you change your features, change what you like and you're done. Just click save & continue

Be careful if you use the change appearance glitch. It works of course but you'll lose ALL your saved outfits everytime you do it. Think the reason they did this is because you could make female characters completely topless.

Why bother with the glitch, when you can just submit a edit appearance request. I've done it before.

 

Actually, after I did it the Rockstar Support Rep told me, "feel free to make a request to edit your character at any point in the future." (Or something along the lines of that)
