00adspro00
Hiya, I have a 980 currently and get about 50 - 70 FPS in the city all maxed and only thing off is MSAA. Wandering if I get another 980 and chuck it in SLI I will get any more performance? Running on one screen @ 60 Ghz 1920x1080. Cheers

No my friend, my TV is 60 Hz...but there is a more important thing, and that is that I get 59 Hz on my Samsung LED Monitor as well. Does it make a difference to me anyway (59 Hz vs 60 Hz), cause Im playing @ 40 FPS locked ?

Have you looked int he Nvidia Control Panel to make sure that global vsync is turned off? If you are playing at 40 fps locked then it doesn't really matter. Sleepy Dude
Ahem *Cough* Anyone else want to help with my question please? turn down the distance slider in the advanced graphics option. it eats fps. the shadow one seems to be better tho. Id also recommended you disable long shadows and high res shadows

Can I now safely buy another 980 and put it in SLI and get 60FPS with that?
heriosis
Hi got SLI KFA 980's.....2560x1080 res.....i5 3570k @ 4.5g I have to turn down Grass, Post FX and Shadows to maintain 60fps (im also using a sweetfx profile with smaa) but i do run with x4 MSAA. I think after the next (fingers crossed) patch, given this last one has lowered my performance, things with improve and you can run max. If your 1920x1080 youll prob be able to max everything. Maybe advanced distance scaling could stand in your way.
Dyngsur
No 1 card perform the same as 2 wrong, 2 cards perform better. but is it worth it? i would say no wait a bit for some more patches and fixes and ur 980 will start to perform better. Atleast thats what i hopeing for!

Cheers different card but i got sli 760. when running one i got 30-50 fps. With sli its always at 60fps, sometimes 58 fps, but thats the lowest. getting a second will help loads. but your already running at good frames. if you want to run MSAA at x2 or more then get the second card [if the cost of a second card is worth it]. it does help with performance ALOT. just remember it doesnt double your RAM, just splits the work load so things happen faster Edited April 20, 2015 by K20
