Comes out of nowhere channel watchmojo (it's a channel that puts top 10's from movies and videogames Based on "their" critic reviews mainly....... then on the viewer's opinion).....and they chose from the all the criminals in the gta series from all the games that involves robing and stealing and gang and drug activity and they decided to choose Michael de santa Wonder why? He is in number 4 from the best videogame thieves. I used to hate the story you know biggest disapointment in 2013 ..............but in a second play it turns out pretty good............but i still criticize the shortness and not using franklin well in the middle of the game ...........see i'm not blind.............even people started making threads like best moments in the story or best songs or praising the missions..........if you hate the game that much just let it go. What exactly is it about Michael that makes him such a great thief? His special ability? He just happens to be the leader in most of the heists but gets most of his intel from Lester. If it weren't for Lester, seems like he would be just another petty crook. Michael struck a deal with Dave to eliminate Trevor, in return for a new life.That's when things went wrong and Brad got shot because he walked into Dave's line of fire at the last moment. Watch the cut-scene in the first mission where Brad gets killed and listen to Mike's thoughts on the way to the cemetery in Ludendorf. He tells Amanda that he's ready to quit and move, but he's just got this one last job to do and then, "Everything is going to be okay." Well of course he gets help and micheal and lester do the plan together( i think) but thing he can handle the situation he had done this before he isn't scared and even we say he just following orders does make him a less of a thief........he can control the robbery............it's like saying batman ain't batman because he got lot of help of his gordan's doughter in arkham asylam or from lucias fox from the dark knight...............or saying we have to pay the cameraman a lot of money because without him we couldn't shoot the movie..........and trevor's heist went very badly and they were saved by lester well at least franklin and micheal because the merryweather were on trevor' as*............and why would michael plan everything if he had lester Edited April 19, 2015 by Big Gta fan Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Your opinions on his character and the story are irrelevant. He actually DID all those things. He worked with the FIB for most of them but it was still illegal. You don't have to be a criminal to be a thief. That's why he's on the list. Now, I just can't wait till GTA VI comes out and all of you start praising every single aspect in GTA V because it WILL happen. For some reason, people seem to bitch about every single thing about a new GTA game and praise the game that came before it. So I don't expect this to be any different. And he did that. Not necessarily saying he deserves to be on some "top ten" list for it, but overall he did what he wanted to do. You just know the whole thing's a sting operation once the cops arrive in droves, after Trevor shoots the guard. Can't remember who, but during the shootout outside the bank, someone keeps saying it's a set-up. The whole heist was a set-up designed to bring Trevor down; or in the eyes of the press, Michael as well, only they didn't know he was in on it. Ned Luke did a tremendous job, and I appreciate him for bringing Michael back to life, but GTA V's story is heavily flawed in character development and pacing. I'm sorry but my best gta was sa and he was bitched by frank tenpenny almost the entire game and he is the one responsible of the fantasy journey cj had the number of the missions that will serve the story's goal is about 35 or 36 missions that's it and everything you had done will not matter i'm sorry but it is and that's my best gta and i didn't complain about being used(Forced or volunteer)............. i still don't understand why cj couldn't kill him you know this used to happen back in 1992 in L.A anyone can kill anyone and get away with it........But in V they were bigger a lot bigger..................But i still like the V's story definately not the best one i still prefer iv and vc storyline over v and i agree with you people on (the story is short-lack of development of franklin on the center of the story) but i won't called a bad story because it impressed me in a lot of ways with the well acted talents and very good dialogue wraps up a lot of things ...............This is coming from a guy who hated gta v since the release.............and one more thing micheal is inspired by tony soprano but he isn't too angry and trevor is inspired by bronson who is a real man.
