I realise you're a cheeky scrub trolling for replies but anyway,

 

I'm playing exclusively on PC now, but on console free aim is the only way to play the game. Nothing fun about driving down the street at 100mph and getting shot by someone locking onto your head automatically while you drive past them. Even on mouse and keyboard no one could hope to have that level of accuracy.

Rule #1 - Be unaware that call of duty and battlefield exist.

I didn't knew that FreeAim = FPS games. Please do tell me why when FPS games has an AA feature, nobody cares, but when a Third Person Shooter game have FreeAim its Hell. Smh.

Only a completly retarded moron thinks aim preference matters as it is down to each and every individual.

 

Put it this way, surviving in AA is harder and killing is easier, but surviving in FA is easier and killing is harder.

Zillion times this. A monkey can kill people using Auto Aim. BUT considering how EVERYONE can be locked on its harder to survive. FA on the other hand, its a bit "realistic" in terms of surviving and accuracy (riding your Ruffian won't get your ass killed due to lock on) but killing/shooting wise its way harder as you need to aim by yourself.

 

Win/win - AA needs defensive skills (everyone can lock on you) and FA needs offensive skills (someone with a sh*tty hand can't easily own the entire lobby with just the 'regular weapons' but a skilled player can).

OT: there really are no rules. If you're the type to feel any sense of accomplishment for your efforts, I would say FA. However, if you're not the type who likes to accomplish things on your own, and would rather have your hand held, by all means play AA.

 

Be warned. You will get killed ten times more and ten times faster when you are with those allowing the game to do the work for them.

I learned from my short time in free aim that everyone is 10x more aggressive, spam explosives and shotguns, and accepting invites to a job will 9 out of 10 ask you to switch modes. I cope with traditional gta aim by staying out of auto aim range, always using snipers, and army rolling to break the auto should I be too close. Running people over in vehicles takes skill since any idiot with a rifle can shoot you out of it.

 

 

I hate it when people jump into a few Free Aim lobbies, get trolled and then think thats the be all end all.

 

Same sh*t happens in Auto Aim. Everyones aggessive... Spams explosives... and auto shotties. And the only reason you are getting AA invites in FA is because you failed to remain in FA long enough.

 

The fact that Auto aim degenerates into constant rolling or sniper wars is the basic reason why I hate it.. As if running people over in AA takes skill. Just no... It takes luck.

 

 

Most of the people in Free Aim are there for two reasons.

 

 

They can drive or get close to players without...and i mean WITHOUT having to deal with lock ons.

I must be incredibly stupid, but where the hell do you find free aim lobbies & deathmatches??? I still think they don't exist and you all are bots specifically designed to troll me.

 

You have to change your aim setting in story mode. Once that's set to free aim you'll automatically launch into free aim lobbies when you join GTAO.

 

The downside is if you accept an invite from someone with AA your aim settings will change to AA, and the only way to reset it is to go back into story mode.

My personal experience is that I'm less likely to be randomly killed and/or griefed in a free aim lobby.

I have no idea about squeakers since my chat is permanently set to friends and crew only.

Theres something more important missing from the mouse settings, and that is an aim sensitivity setting. Theres only a mouse look sensitivity, and no aim sensitivity. The gamepad settings have both. There should be one for the mouse!

Be proud of your free aim superiority, feel rewarded that you are playing the game for yourself, and promote it as much as you can. Don't let the misguided players on the forum tell you otherwise, they're too ignorant to realise free aim is doesn't require 'skills' beyond what other games do, they're too lazy to even try it and they talk nonsense of it to make excuses that free aim is all about miniguns and empty lobbies.

 

It's good however to see some people keeping it real in here and realising that free aim suits GTA multiplayer best, because I'll be damned, if I have to travel the world of Los Santos on foot rather than in car, and be a sitting duck to someone just tapping two buttons to aim bot on to me.

Unspoken rule these days:

 

Don't purposely melee in Deathmatches (There is a glitch that causes you to lose your attachments)

Don't rely on explosives or the assault shotgun.

 

Do compliment the other player if they play well.

Do come on to GTAforums, and tell everyone how much better and more enjoyable free aim is compared to assisted.

I primarily use ARs and sometimes the Heavy Sniper. But if you want to whip out a cheap weapon (Rocket, Minigun, Auto Sniper, explosives) then I'll just go all out. Minigun and everything.
I prefer the challenge of fighting with ARs as the aforementioned weapons take 0 SKILL. A guy was whippin' me with the Auto Sniper while I was using the HS. I pulled out mine and wiped the floor with him.

Let me tell, I've played with people who have had missing fingers, unsteady hands, and sight issues such as colour blindness, but they too have seen the light that was free aim, don't give up and don't hate me for trying to show you the righteous path.

 

There is no room in my heart to hate AA players, I am here to guide you, to help you find the way to learn to reject what Rockstar sinfully made default, and enjoy the fuller experience that is aiming for yourself. Don't be constrained by the locks of assisted , but be free, with free aim....
