1. No squeakers, to compete here you need to have surpassed purberty.

2. Don't be an asshole, this isn't auto aim.

3. Muscle cars only, free aim is alpha male mode (not a real rule, I only said it because free aim is the non pussy mode aspect of the game).

 

Edit: BTW this wasn't meant to be taken completely seriously or to heart, other than the no squeaker part these aren't real rules or even things you have to do to be allowed to compete in free aim.

Ideally setup your mouse in Windows, half way system sensitivity (5 or 6 slider), no acceleration (disable "Enhance Pointer Precision"), then setup your mouse sensitivity from your drivers in such a way that it is natural for you - equivalent of anything between 1.2 to 3.5 sensitivity in Counter Strike, for instance. Then set up RAW input ingame, and you`re set.

By reading those comments you can pick out the true free aim players and the auto aim players who moved over recently.

No rules in Free mode but, if it's a deathmatch full of high lvls then most likely it's gonna be a rifles only. Use auto shotty and explosives and you will get in trouble lol.

That's not true anymore but still quite funny. There was a period between updates where seeing tumbleweed in free aim counted as a social event but sessions are well stocked now and have been for a long time.

 

I don't think there are any free roam specific rules, I could pretend there's more honour or some such bull**** but there isn't.

Why does it seem like free aim players care too much about this? Honestly I was thinking about switching lobbies awhile back. I went into a few free aim lobbies (I didn't let anyone know I mostly played in auto) and all the players were doing was bitching about auto aim lobbies. sh*t auto aim is a race war and free aim is an auto aim war. Why can't people just stop bitching about useless sh*t? f*ck.

Good to know, I may switch back to free aim and give it a go again. Do you find deathmatches and races have full lobbies in free aim too?
