I actually managed to fail the flaming Fleeca Scope Out job..

 

How?

 

Firing a pink flare from the car because I was bored as the hacking guy was taking waaaaaay too long..

 

Supposedly it alerted the police and that was it all over!!

 

Felt sorry for the lvl 20 that was hosting...

Worst fail? When we tried humane labs twenty times (final setup) and when we finally got it one of the crew fell asleep

Yup. been there... Though I can add to that.. similar set up.. though I had waited half an hour for a useless pilot to lose the police.. I was the helicopter pilot. it was two minutes before i had to leave for work.. I forget what I'm doing (and was probably packing my bag at the same time/checking the travel news) and next thing I know the Buzzard's smashing into the side of a hill.. I quickly pressed the power button to say the least..

 

come on.. more shame people!

I joined this random's heist invite, to The Pacific Standard Job. Around 99% of the time, one of us died, and the leader kept telling us the same thing, presumably changing his mind:

 

 

...Okay, let's use cop car! ......No, no, okay, motorcycles. Wait, wait, cop cars! No sticky bombs! Motorcycles! No stickies! Cop Car!!

 

 

I gave up soon after. One of the members was a younger person, and he kept throwing sticky bombs, sometimes blowing us up. The leader couldn't decide if he wanted us to use a cop car, or motorcycles.

 

 

Eventually, we got really close to the getaway point, and someone else joined and replaced another member (not the sticky bomb person). We get really close, and the leader somehow dies after parachuting.

On the last finale, I opened by chute and everything was going just fine until one of my teammates decides to wait ages before opening his, he opens it when he's right next to me and destroys mine and I fell to my death.

after waiting for my crew to lose the heat for over 15 minutes in Prison Break finale, the leader asks me to come to destroy a popo helicopter that was causing them to never lose sight of the police, so I went...

But I think I went too fast....soo fast I couldn't stop my Buzzard from crashing head on against the Maverick, both helicopters blows up and I rage quitted so hard I turned off the console

I was doing series a coke with my buddy and 2 randoms. we all took the chopper and I land it on the top of the yacht and get out next thing I know the damn thing falls in the ocean with my 2 of the people. and then the fourth person ramped the boat on the yacht and plowed me into a wall while I had a grenade and you can imagine what happened then.

What's a Heist fail? My crew doesn't know what fail means.

 

 

We've always been good working together and the Heists were a nice chance to "challenge" our teamwork"

 

But we have had some goof ups:

Prison Heist setup where you go into the police station.

Me and a buddy finish goofing off with projector shadow puppets.

As were leaving the prostitute was talking trash so I started flipping her off and then all the cops, talking trash the whole time.

One minute it's "F you and you and you. And F you Piggy!" Then next moment I'm getting my face shot in.

We had no weapons out. All I was doing was pointing at cops and flipping them off while talking trash.

I go into the bank to drill...... my character just ralts right into the corner and can't move. I can press Start or the Xbox button but can't move or pull up phone

I think it was Prison Break, we get the notification "Helicopter Died" stupid helicopter, should have taken cover and ate some snacks.

On the setup Police Station mission, I was speeding to the cargoship and got blindsided by the train which just happen to get to that spot on the tracks the same second I did. This was also on a criminal mastermind attempt.

 

Yup. Kind of like in the first The Fast and the Furious movie, except I didn't make it across the tracks. Was V.e.r.y. pissed.

Me and some friends were doing the Prison Break Finale, first time was a complete mess due to no coordination, second time, just as we were taking off, a police SUV spawns on the runway and smashes into us, blowing the whole plane up but leaving the SUV unscathed. Not as good as the guy who got crushed by a falling helicopter carcass, but still.

 

Thankfully we completed it on the 3rd try, after various amounts of glitches had made the setups and the finale a bit of a pain.

You don't fail Criminal Mastermind if you fail a mission, only if you get a new crew (member), do them in the wrong order or die. You can fail on purpose to save someone from dying and you still have CM progression

The first time I started a heist with a friend who mainly plays on PS4 but came back to 360 to help me earn some cash, we were playing the Fleeca Scope Out and my friend was the hacker and when the minigame was supposed to come up, it didn't so he was stuck. He couldn't get in the Granger so I ended up driving up the bridge and jumping off.

 

Not that big of a fail, but ya know.

I've had two - both extremely embarrassing!

 

1) Prison Break finale (as Pilot) - everything was going beautifully - kept the plane safe (tailing the jets never fails!) - Prof. successfully extracted from prison - landed at Sandy Shores airfield - picked everyone up - flew away - lost wanted level...all we have to do now is parachute down to the demolitions guy waiting in a Buzzard on a secluded beach...we've done the hard bit - we can practically smell the money! Then I got complacent...thought I'd skydive down to the beach in style, releasing my 'chute at the last minute like a pro - but accidentally landed in the rotor blades of the awaiting helicopter! You should have seen the mess! Even salami isn't cut that thin! *Apologies all round*

 

2) Humane Labs Raid (as Pilot..again) - similar situation - we've basically done it - Ground Team collected from the beach - 3 Buzzards to fight off, then we're done...we took a couple of hits and had some thick black smoke coming from the 'chopper, but we defeated them - just got to land the Valkyrie in one piece and we're done....so I fly to the landing zone - but I'm way too heavy on the landing - KABOOM! - everyone died! ....oops! *Apologies all round...again!*

 

LESSON: Don't get complacent! It's never over 'til it's over!

I was playing the Pacific Standard heist with my friend and his two other friends. We got to the part were we had to parachute into the Digney and one of his idiot friends parachuted too hard into the Digney and died, making us fail the heist.

Twice on the Humane Labs finale, in quick succession:

First time, I'm on a hill with the Valkyrie pilot, and we're shooting down the incoming Buzzards on foot. One comes in from behind the hill suddenly, but I react quickly and spray it with my minigun...

 

...only for the wreckage to fall on the Valkyrie - mission failed!


We restart, and try the same thing, keeping the Buzzards as far away as possible to avoid a repeat of that last f***-up. Again, one closes on us quickly, so I whip out the heavy sniper and nail the pilot, who slumps over the controls...

 

...sending the doomed Buzzard on a direct course for the Valkyrie - again.

 

(third time, we parked the Valkyrie up the hill, then ran as far down as possible before the Buzzards started coming - that way, there was no risk of dead Buzzards dropping on our ride. Still, many lols...)

I rarely fail missions. But when i do it's r* Ai that manage to take me down. Pacific standard i think i left my bike and decided to get in a Police car, made it to the mountain but i didn't turn fast enough and ended up going downhill with 3 minutes left we ran for towards the bridge. Finally got there and i jump off i hit a rock and died. I was shocked, i said what? But how did that one guy do it?! I remembered that on a different time a guy doing the same thing jumping without a car or bike and getting to the boat safely..I guess he jumped from a different point where there are no obstacles on the way down. still i was pretty annoyed at myself. I'm normally the first one waiting in the boat this time things went south and failed terribly.

Due to gta being stale I played some other games for a while. Started playing again yesterday and killed myself with tear gas bombs on the los santos connection. Then I heard a guy on a mic say you killed yourself or something.

 

I was trying to kill the npcs up the stairs by the drugs without destroying said drugs.

PSJ-signal.....following the boat, me and my buddy riding double on shark....hit a good sized wave, jumped the shark into the boat. Driver of boat waited for us to enter, shark caught fire, burned my buddy and it blew all 3 of us up. Wish we had it on video, was lmfao.
