Fleeca Bank Heist - Scope Out [GLITCH]

Hey guys,

 

I get this glitch were the game freezes up on the very first stage of the Fleeca heist, when I drive the Granger into my garage. My buddy I'm doing the heist with goes into the garage like normal, gets the money, and is then treated to a white screen, and has to restart the game. I see the cut-scene of the car going to the garage, but then stay in the car outside, as the driver, with no HUD, not being able to move the camera, but the car is just idling, I can hear radio and cars in the background, and have to restart the game from there. Tried this three times now.

 

This last time I tried pressing Home to bring up the Social Club overlay, and I could join a different Online session from there, but the game crashed before it was finished joining.

 

 

I'm hosting the heist from my apartment Del Perro Heights apt. 20.

I'm gonna be honest here and say that right now there's no known fix for it at this point, R* has been telling people to reinstall the game all week and as we all know.. that doesn't work.

 

There have been a handful of suggestions from people both here and on the Social Club Support site saying the following

 

• Try hosting at another apartment
• Try changing your camera view
• Cancel the heist and then re-do it (calling Lester)

 

The most recent one I encountered was that it's an issue going on with the Host of the Heist, if that's the case.. did your buddy say that it shows he completed the Heist setup? And I'm assuming it says you haven't completed it yet.

 

According to this guy, you'll have to beat the setup mission twice.. with you hosting the first one and then your buddy gets the second.

 

1. You can host and then complete it up to the point where you encounter the bug again, this will have your buddy completing it.

2. Now your buddy hosts the same setup mission, this will have you completing it (while he encounters the bug, but he already completed it.. though I'm assuming that's the case since most people that encounter this bug are reporting that only the host isn't getting credit for it)

3. From there just have your friend keep hosting (or you can retake the position) and go through the rest of the heist, haven't seen any reports about the same bug in any of the other heists so far so it should go smooth sailing assuming that this method does work.

Don't mention it! Though I'm not too positive that any of those suggestions will work.

 

Without taking any credit however, I just ran into this post from a friend of mine on the forums X S so it's worth trying as well
