Random NPC mugger?

I spawned in after disconnecting from a heist, standing next to this NPC. I bumbed into him and he then got mad and tried to hit me so while moving back I disabled passive mode but he hit me and I fell over, it then popped up on the screen I had been mugged and the guy who just attacked me was running away. Anything like this happened before to anyone?

Someone payed him to mug you. You activate it by calling Gerald after you receive a certain level

No, this was an NPC, I am sure. When I spawned in he was holding a coffee and when I bumped into him he dropped it and came after me to punch me like some NPC's do.

Maybe another player called a mugger on you. And the reason why the NPC mugged you out of nowhere was probably because of lag.

There are no random muggings...get over it. Someone tried to rob you of your cut dummy.

This is the point at which I wish I had recorded it happening >_>

This is the weird thing, I had only just spawned in, like literally 10 - 20 seconds after I spawned in was when this happened. I do not think this is enough time for someone to call a mugger on me and as far as I know muggers dont cross sessions.

Jesus, did someone piss in your breakfast this morning? Chill out you hot-headed prick...

OP: There are no random muggings in the game's code, but what you are describing has happened to me before too. What happens is that the server list shows all players in the server, aswell as those that are about to spawn in; someone has literally called a mugger on you with good timing, nothing more.
