I have never seen such a complete settings menu. Maybe Age of Conan, but no, I think that is even limited in comparison for my choices available in GTA V! Thank you Rockstar for letting me choose 30fps ultra or 60fps high/very high! Thank you! PS: I dislike txaa and fxaa and I prefer mfaa + msaa 4x with fxaa and txaa both disabled! lydianduck Posted April 18, 2015 Share Posted April 18, 2015 Yep, the half-refresh rate option is definately useful; Im runing at 60fps normal v sync myself but it's good to have the choice for constant 30fps with beefy graphics, besides, you get used to 30fps after a while and it looks fine! MrBaker1 Posted April 18, 2015 Share Posted April 18, 2015 (edited) If you have an Nvidia card you can use nvidiaInspector to set half Vsync or fps limits. there is always Msi afterburner too, which you can use to limit frame rates and worka on AMD cards as well. It looks fine til you see it at higher frames again and your like "aahhhhh )" But ofc, its always nice to have options there. I make good use of adaptive (half) vsync in nV control panel when gaming at @4k. chimney sweeper Posted April 18, 2015 Share Posted April 18, 2015 In my opinion the last patch ruined all great optimization, and it hits especially people with very average rigs, before update I had 40fps in Franklin's house, now I have 28 in the same scenery, game is unplayable now, I had to switch over to dx10 and turn off most of details to recover previous framerate. I have everything on Very High-Ultra with a stable 30fps, and I couldn't be happier.... well, maybe if I could achieve 60 at ultra I'd be a little bit happier.
