I've shot an NPC for 2 solid seconds with that sweeping laser of death the Minigun, and he got back up and minugn-uzi'd me. WHILE I WAS IN COVER.

Mainly shoot outs, occasionally i'll have a shoot out with someone whos lower than level 100 and it always ends up as (i'll list them in order of the outcome) me dying, us both dying and rarely i'll survive with a pinch of health left and die from a cop.

Idk, with the heavy sniper it's pretty random for me. Sometimes I'll survive a direct center-of-mass hit from the heavy with just a sliver of health, despite only having full health and no armor on when I was shot, and other times, It'll drop me dead with one shot even though I had full health AND full armor. In both of these instances I was using the same character (over rank 500)

Is it possible that whenever that happens its because the other player is more accurate in that particular gunfight? Or maybe his health is full while yours is only half?

 

These variables can make a significant difference.

When a low level and a high level die at the same time in a gunfight, it's really not down to how much health one has, it's all down to the lag comp that GTA has. Destiny has this problem as well.

 

In games like GTA and Destiny, each consoles data gets read and the host continues to receive and accept both players data while in a gunfight, even though one player has killed another first the game continues to accept data from the killed player resulting in both players dying at the same time.

 

CoD fixed this problem by changing how their lag comp works, instead of both players data being read and accepted all the time, the first player to get a kill and have their data sent to the host gets the kill, because as soon as the host receives that data, the host then ignores all data from the player that has been "killed" until they hit the re spawn button. Unfortunately this also sometimes results in the "I totally put like 5 bullets into him first and I died???!" Bullsh*t.

Do the low level players think the High level players like myself, just magically got to where we are and didn't go through what they are going through?

I mean, put your work in, take your beating, do what you have to do do get to Level 120 (Mini-gun) buy Bullet-proof helmet and get you strength up.

 

Sure you might have to go punch beach goers for two hours but it's worth the time to up your strength to 100%.

I remember being in DMs where I'd get killed because the enemy took two more bullets than me. I adjusted until I could start going head to head, in the meantime I learned to use the environment to my advantage.

And the last obvious thing is headshots of course. But you already knew that.

Because why not? why have the max level at 8000 when we got nothing after 120? makes no sense, high level players go no benefit or perks.

Actually my main complaint was health, others brought up lag and armor which is plausible.
