i dont get the taxi drivers in V. in GTAIV , if i told them to hurry up than they'd drive like maniacs to get to me where i needed fast. in GTAV they kinda try and do that but so often get stuck behind traffic in red lights or refusing to pass cars that stopped in their way.

also its a bit of a shame that after you tell a cabby to hurry up u can tell him to slow down again.

 

 

...you can exit the cab and quickly call him again but that's silly.

 

 

 

anyway, that my tiny insignificant rant. not exactly game breaking =P

It kind of is game breaking for those that don't devote their entire lives to the game. I agree, the taxi driver, when told to hurry, is a joke. He can't even figure out how to turn around properly, will drive the wrong way for blocks on end before he turns around, stops and gets stuck behind traffic, refuses to pass people, etc. etc. and it ends up taking longer than if you didn't press "hurry". The only options are A: drive yourself, B: take forever and don't press hurry or C: spend extra money to skip the trip.

 

It is sad, indeed. IV worked fine.
