Gas-can exploding in your face...

Okay, so i was doing missions with a group of randoms, and im on wifi and its raining today, so i ended up getting split up from them due to sh*t connection when we started up Mixed Up With Coke. Normally when that happens i just quit the mission and find another person to play with - i dont play online to play alone lol - but this time i chose to thug it out and play by myself. My plan was to clear out all the guys on the ground and in the buildings before taking out the trucks with my shotgun to save money, and to have bit of fun. So i get all that done, blow up the cement truck in the back, then i decide im gonna pile up a sh*tload of cars around the last one, put a circle of gas around them, shoot the trail and watch them all cook off...now this is where it gets interesting...

 

I started with 100 units of gas in my can, and by the time i got about 75% around the mashup of cars, at 65 units of gas, i hear an explosion to my right, then half a second later the car immediately to the right of me blows up, killing me -_-

 

Why the hell would this happen? I totally cleared out the construction site, even waited for those annoying ass gun trucks that spawn when you get in your car to stop showing up. No more enemies were spawning, no more trucks were spawning, and i was totally alone in the lobby - so no one could have shot part of my trail...

 

I still had another life left so i wasnt all too upset, im just extremely confused right now as to why that sh*t wouldve just blown up. Did rockstar change it to where gas will autoignite if left long enough? Last time i checked gas would evaporate after a couple minutes or so if not ignited...oh and on top of this you cant blow up peoples zentornos via the circle of gas > ignite with exhaust flames anymore, without getting charged for insurance

Cars were rubbing against each other, racking up damage till one exploded, setting off the rest.

 

Next time make sure none of the cars are overlapping each other too much and you'll be fine.

Use a Buzzard/etc. to save money

 

 

My gas can only comes out as someone is respawning near their PV, I douse the PV and hide behind it, then they set their own car on fire

One of the car's exhaust probably backfired when you were trying to pile them all up
