I'd like to see remote bombs for pegasus vehicles, this would allow them to be swapped out easily for the owner, prevent the vehicle being used against the owner and add a little risk reward for those pesky thieves out there

Here's an answer.

 

When people say "We should be able to steal (and keep) any car" they mean any NPC car; such as cop cars, taxis, ambulances, the park ranger granger, Slamvan 2, the DoD; etc, etc. If you could steal other people's cars and store them, knowing R* they'd do it such a way that it would be incredibly annoying; somehow or another.

 

When people say "We should be able to lock our PVs" they mean their Pegasus vehicles which we've payed nice chunks of money for. I for one dumped out some money for a Barracks (400,000 I think?) and find it irritating when people can simply steal it when they can only blow up my PV when I leave it locked. You pay 1.2 million for a buzzard (or however much it is) then some guy just gets to nab it without you being able to do anything about it? You could chalk that up to simple bitching and moaning but in reality; it is true. We 'worked' hard for the money (assuming you didn't just cash-card it or glitch the money), we oughta be able to at least control who can and can't use the damn thing.

 

When people say "I leave my PV locked so people can't steal it" they do that because they dumped x amount of dollars and probably quite a bit of time into it. They don't want just anyone driving off with it and crashing it somewhere. Granted you can get it replaced and fixed for free (fixed for free if parked in your garage or have your mechanic deliver it to you at least) but you can at least control who gets it. Like the thrill of chasing down the stealer? Fine, leave it unlocked. Don't want to screw with it? Lock it. You paid the money; you get to have that choice and flaunt it freely.

Maybe I'm missing something but in my experience a group can't really be hypocritical unless they all think the same way about something -

 

You are throwing out some strange accusations about the forum without anything to back it up????

 

Yes it is possible to have differing opinions about a subject from different people within a group....

 

This certainly doesn't warrant it's own thread and has become something of a spam magnet so this will be locked.

 

Please avoid posting nonsensical threads-- and I think he majority of the people who responded in this thread are just as guilty.... this went nowhere fast....
