Theres no mods for this game.

The files are hardcore locked into huge rpf files, we need some more weeks/months to get a program that lets us edit them.

what are you talking about? the open IV people have already cracked it, and programs are (and have) come out, lol.

Currently we can view and open the game files but can not edit them quite yet. IIRC the deformation was controlled by a value in handling.meta you would increase or decrease to control how much cars are impacted by damage.

We should have Beamng Drive physics and deformation

Not only would it make the game run like absolute crap, physics like that just don't work in a gameplay sense. The typical GTA player won't want realistic physics where a car could be disabled from a single crash, it would break the flow too much.

Or they could just learn to drive.

I'd like the option for more punishing damage regardless.

speak for your self. this game sucks and need enhancements like higher damage and realistic handling mods.

You both also seem to be missing the part where BeamNG can only properly handle one car per CPU core. How on earth would a GTA game work with 4 cars on screen for a typical quadcore CPU?

i dont now any thing about that game but i do know There was a mod for IV called realistic Driving and Flying 2.7 the guy re-did every single vehicle's handling and increased the damage to realism. The boy was a Genius. Killatomate was his name.

I know how BeamNG runs, I have the game on my PC. I'm not asking for BeamNG physics, I'm asking for cars that can't take 80 crashes and still run fine.

Yeah, tell me how you can mod the game only by looking at the files. *facepalm*

They know how to decrypt the files. That's half the way to knowing how to re-encrypt them and then we can inject our own files.

You dont need that insane level of physics to have a good mesh deformation. There is already a damage mod for this game that came out on the ps3/xbox360, so at some point something will be released for this. From what I saw, it was a perfect combination of damage, physics and realism for this game. The driving and damage in this game has been dumbed waaaay too far down. I mean really. You smash in to another car or a wall going 80mph, and the car just bounces off and has a few scratches. If this were any other game, everyone would call that sh*tty, unrealistic, etc. But because its GTA, piss poor driving physics/vehicle damage is acceptable? Marketing sure takes its toll on peoples minds.

Yea the vehicles in gta 5 is like made from reinforced titanium..atleast make the roof and sides deformable...u run the car over with a tank and nothing happens to the roof at all

This is the main reason i want a deformation mod

Indestructible sides and roofs sucks
