I met this guy at my old job, we became good buddies and seemed to click. He was a bit different than I in that we didn't run with the same people, shared few interest, but we enjoyed each other's company nevertheless. I would give this guy rides to and from work and charge him only $20 per every two weeks...or payday, and I did this for about 6 months. Sometimes I let him slide on paying me if he was in financial troubles or whatever...which strangely happened a lot. I say "strangely" because he lived by himself and always seemed to have new parts for his computer, but short on gas money. Hmm. In hindsight I realize he was using me a bit more than I should have allowed, but live and learn. Anyway, I got a different job but we still kept in contact on the ol' Facebook. Sometimes we'd get together and spar a bit, or play games, just hang out. Long story short, I knew this guy for 2 years and I thought he was my friend, and then he betrayed me. We set a date to hang out and he no-showed which was a growing trend with him by then. I'm a man of my word, and if I say something will happen or I will be somewhere, I will. I was only wrong for assuming the same with this guy. The last time we hung out, he literally only came by because I was going to sell him a microphone, for far less then I paid for it but remember, I thought he was a friend so I was cutting him a deal. After he bought the Mic from me, he promptly deleted me from Facebook and blocked me. Talk about a smack in the face. The day after he deleted me, I went up to his job and got in his face about it. I told him that it was BS what he did, and that if I hadn't known him as long as I did, we'd have a scrap on our hands. He just stared at the ground until the mouth bashing was over, and I left. I see him from time to time and he never looks at me directly. He knows what he did was wrong. I never once did the guy wrong. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
