Junior90210
I got the same problem. I am running this thing on a Windows 8.1 PC with a Nvidia 760GTX card. I loaded the latest drivers and everything. Even disabled my GTX and re-enabled it before the game starts and still no luck. Here is the YouTube video of what happed during startup. https://youtu.be/zk7InIEzrPU
Junior90210
Hey Famous Friend, here is ther solution to the problem. Try changing the DirectX setting from 11 to 10.1. The game wouldn't launch for me (black screen and crash after a minute or two) so I lowered the setting and now it works perfectly. You will have to change it manually if the game does not launch at all. To do this, go to My Documents > Rockstar Games > GTA V. There will be a file called settings.xml. Open it in notepad (or any other program that can edit xml files) and change "DX_Version value" from 2 to 1.
