Some leaked Tampa customization, looks like it will be worth it! Credit goes to ZZCOOL.

Not really a leak if it's in the game files and can be viewed by everyone.

That's utter bulsh*t and you know it. Only the sharing of Original works with intent to distribte them and make a profit from them is illegal. Ie. if the intent of sharing wasn't to "Speculate" but rather to "Copy and use in another game, which is then sold for a profit" then it would be illigal.

Just because YOU want to use them to speculate doesn't mean someone else couldn't take them and use them elsewhere. In that case the OP and GTAForums would be implicit in distributing copyrighted works. Also...one caveat: "Only the sharing of Original works with intent to distribte them and make a profit from them is illegal.". So distributing copyrighted works online in their entirety without the authors permission (Ergo software piracy) isn't illegal as long as you don't intend on making a profit?

 

Are the posted textures copyrighted? Yes.

Are the posted textures part of a wider copyrighted work? Yes.

Did the OP ask for R*'s permission to post/distribute them? More than likely, no.

Could I take the posted textures and decide to use them in my own project illegally? In their current state, yes.

 

Like it or not the OP has no right to post those textures and he IS violating the DMCA. I'm not asking anyone to remove them...I could care less honestly...I'm just giving you guys a heads up.

 

Nice try, but no. The textures themselves have no Copyright over them themselves. If they did, then sharing Snapmatic pictures would be considered Illegal as well. The person using the textures in their own project would be at fault and commiting the Illigal action, not the OP.

 

Therefore this thread is not in violation of the DMCA and therefore the only way this thread could be taken down is through silly arguments such as this one.

It would be sweet to be able to put on the armour by flippin a switch.

a lot of these sound really interesting, they wouldn't create Tampa modifications for LSC for nothing, ever notice some of these mods are similiar to Sabre Turbo for some reason?

That would be nice! The Dominator (Ford Mustang) is the closest vehicle that resembles it, but I would really like this one much more.

I thought the Gauntlet matched the Camaro more.
