UpdateHater
Hi everyone. i found a simple fix for the failed to call zlib error. all you need to do is verify integrity of game cache. right click on gta v in steam and select "Properties" now click the local files tab and select "Verify integrity of game cache". after the process is finished its going to say that there's corrupted files that will be re-downloaded. some stuff about this game fix: how long does it take? it took me an hour. it depends on the amount of files corrupted what caused the error in the first place? corrupted/broken files. its a big game and that will happen while downloading it. i think what happened is i was forcefully switching off the pc while installing it. can an update cause this again? probably not. but if you do think updates are going to cause problems. switch off automatic update on steam and then read comments about the update. did you know? the game works with nvidia surround.
