Well, obviously the PS4 is the "next-gen" king, since it had way more units sold than the sh*t-Box One...when Microsoft hasn't released sales numbers in forever, except for "XBoxes sold", which includes BOTH the 360 AND One in the total...

...other than that, it's probably a tie between 360 and PS3

I'm on PS4, I won't go back to PS3

Uh, you can't
I also think the PS4 is better as i'm going to purchase one this year but you can't say a console is better than the other only by it's sales though.
Halo.

Not these days.Still have no faith in 343i, Gank? Better than what Bungie is doing now. The Halo lore is much better now than it's ever been.

Unfortunately the same can't be said for the rest of it. The H5 beta isn't showing much promise for me.

OT: XBONE.

I can't answer your question, OP. I don't play one platform more than the other.

I have it on PS3, PS4, Xbox One and PC. The only version I didn't buy was the 360 version because at the time I wanted to give my PS3 some love. It was collecting dust.

But 360 was where it was at last gen, so I kind of regretted that decision. Almost every streamer and YouTuber played GTA V on 360. In fact, I was really surprised to see how many people played it on PS3 once I started using these forums.

The new consoles are more than gaming platforms, your not just buying a machine your buying a network!!

When faced with a choice between buying Sony's network or Microsoft's..... is it really even a choice???

PS3. Making the jump to PS4 at the end of the month. Having one imported from out of the country. PS4s' price is inflated to f*ck in India. Its like $639 in USD in India.

If you really believe you're split down the middle then your vote won't play much into the results. For instance if I asked if you "liked" pizza or lasagna you could easily answer, "I like both" and that could logically be true, but if I asked which one do you eat "primarily" the pizza would win hands down over the length of a poll because the majority of people won't spend the time to make the lasagna every night versus ordering a pizza. You could figure that out with a moment of reasoning. If you somehow really did eat lasagna as much as pizza (maybe your pizza shop makes great lasagna) then voting for both would simply progress equally by one and wouldn't effect the results at all. We would still see that most people still eat pizza more than lasagna. See what I mean? The goal of this is not to start a console war (because obviously some people hate pizza and like lasagna) or figure out that you like all your systems equally. The reality is you will "lean" your time to one system or the other. It's impossible for you to play each system on GTA equally. For instance, if your Crew is "primarily" on Xbox 360 you may play the 360 more than your Xbox One just because you like hanging out with them even if you do "like" them equally, unfortunately your team is where it is. The goal is to find out if the PS4 is pizza and the xBox One is Lasagna. In other words, which one you use the most or "prefer" and also, if I'm looking for people to play with I think I know which system I should get. And the poll is confirming my suspicion.

One of the big things I've been dealing with is finding good and mature players, which I think we all probably have a problem with. When I was asked by a couple of bad players if I was getting the Xbox One like them you can see my resistance to saying, "yea, let me leave all these mature players behind so I can hang out with you idiots who never play and constantly kill me in lobbies and screw up missions for me!" Being a creature of evolution though I really can't support being stagnant on 360 for the rest of my gaming life and honestly there's going to come a point when an update won't work so the clock is ticking for moving up. I'm not financially strapped in the way I choose so I can pick any system I want and later flip-flop if I want. Regardless, I want to find a system I can dedicate to "primarily". If the most potential is on PS4 then so be it, PS4 it is. But the honest answer was that I was judging a lot of stuff I saw on random information and for me that's just not scientific. The only way to have a scientific result to help me, and I'm sure others, decide where I should go is to do a poll. So if you like Xbox or PS, more power to you. I'm sure this poll will have zero effect on you. But for those of us who just don't care what system we use then we want to go where the action is and the place that has the most potential for fun and opportunity. Since I like the way dedicated players here decide on where to play the logical place to put the poll was here.

PS3/PS4 it does the job for me I dont really take any notice of all the "EXTRA" details that fanboys will argue years on about. Those make me happy so I stick with them and I would find it unnecessary getting another console since I have two already unfortunately I'm just not in that position where I can just fork out another $400 for another console. I could really give a sh*t they all play the same game and the differences are miniscule IMO.

PS3, the PS4/XBOne are overrated and severely underpowered. At some point I will join the glorious PC masterrace though.

PS4 for me, had 360 but the console got traded in when the PS4 came around.

I have a PC that'd play GTA on pretty high settings, but I really don't see the appeal of buying a 3rd copy for a system thats uncontrollable.

Well, that's not very scientific of you if you're attempting to judge the maturity of players based upon blind poll results. The fact is I do play my Xbox One version equally as much as my PS4 version, albeit in different ways; I'll devote weekends to the PS4 and weeknights to the Xbox One, but there is an equal amount of time spent on both. I don't touch my PS3 anymore, and I mostly use the PC version for editing. But after you've played the game on all these platforms, you'll notice there isn't a single difference. There's immature people on both networks. A network service isn't going to change that. There's also more to judge in a platform than the use of one game. So if you want to be scientific about it, get a piece of paper, draw a line down the center, and write the pros of each console on either side. Weigh each pro on a scale of 1 to 10, and then tally up the totals. Your friends can be a contributing factor, and from the looks of it, I would probably weigh that pro a "10", if I were you. Easy peasy. Much scientific.

So lets do it your way. I'll draw a line as you stated.

Now lets use your reference that "each system is equal" graphically and "(t)here's immature people on both networks. So each score evens out.

A network service isn't going to change that." With YOUR logic everything weighs the same on both sides of the paper in regards to maturity as well.

If we add in my "friends can be a contributing factor," my current friends are on my current system Xbox 360, which I already have.

So using the logic that at some point I'll have to get a new system because the old system, which under your scale has the most weight, will no longer support upcoming updates then according to you, I can split my time equally among both systems if I need to. So I already have the system with the most weight and still have a need to upgrade. So far your scale isn't working scientifically and has not provided an answer.

So leaving all your logic of what decision of system to go with zeroed out the only unequal weight left is the poll which is the only logical science we have left and I'm back to the same conclusion and with more players I have the greater percentage on the law of averages to find mature players and if, as you say, there are no mature players I've only provided myself more opportunities in all cases. Not to mention I can motivate my friends to move to my system of choice so I can continue to have them as friends as well.

In all cases my results are the more scientific than what you presented. Remember, that's using the logic that you just presented that ended at 0 and equal on both sides using your own admissions of value and capability you somehow didn't look at your own words prior to judging my scientific resolution. Maybe its time you go back and take Statistics class again.

I believe that this poll is not for you, doesn't apply to you, and your input is no longer required or found to be sound and I believe it is biased. Nothing personal.

I think the one being biases here is you. Anyone that thinks logically you shut out and have no use for them. Seems to me you want non thinkers posting in here.

So lets do it your way. I'll draw a line as you stated.

Now lets use your reference that "each system is equal" graphically and "(t)here's immature people on both networks. So each score evens out.

That's all I read in that response.

And I'm not sure why you're getting so defensive over this. Just pick the system you want. How hard is that? If friends are an important factor to you, then stick with the Xbox 360. The problem is that you've made a lot of implications and unsubstantiated claims, including the fact that no one, not even Rockstar themselves have stated that last gen will eventually go unsupported. Therefore, without any evidence to support this claim, then yes, you must stick with Xbox 360. That is a scientific approach, not an emotional one. You just can't dismiss the results because you "feel" a certain way about them, and in this case: that last gen may go unsupported. This is a basic method of choice, not statistics.

Not voting.

PS3 & PS4

Okay, I'll vote for you. ;)

Okay, only bc I play on both systems PS3 for DW8XL and PS4 for GTA and WO3U. The options had me at a crossroads.

And again you're missing the point of the post. You guys are talking like you're somehow presenting some magical logic that will solve my problem when I don't have a problem. I'm not defensive. You're coming to me saying I have some problem you're hear to fix and I don't have a problem you need to fix and you obviously don't know how to fix because you don't understand it and even your own logic doesn't work.

I don't know how to say it clearer. Stop helping and just vote. I don't care if you use multiple systems or it's illogical or if I'm implying or any of it. If I wanted help like your giving I would ask for it.

I don't understand why that's so hard for you to figure out. If you're not voting then you're not providing support to this thread. If you're here to help me the only way to do that is to vote and anything else isn't helping. If you won't vote or think you use each system equally then we don't need you here. Again it's nothing personal.
