If you're used to the feel and usability of 7, stick with 7. Earleys Posted April 17, 2015 Share Posted April 17, 2015 Some games run better on Windows 8, but I don't know if that's the case for this game. I don't think you'll notice a big difference until maybe Windows 10 comes out, since that will introduce DX12, and even then I doubt it will be that big. There's nothing wrong with W8.1 (free upgrade from 8) in my opinion, GTA V also runs fine for me on W8.1 (the crashes I'm having are mostly Social Club related). That's interesting. I know a lot of people have been liking 8.1, but I stopped at 8 simply because I couldn't tell the difference and I wasn't a fan of it. If it does help with performance, then I might be open minded to try that for myself. For now though, I'm sticking with 7, as I'm waiting for 10 to be released. It looks pretty promising.
