People have guns, people steal cars, people kill each other, but one thing I have noticed from transitioning from console GTA to PC GTA is how much more approachable people seem. Whether it's the honeymoon-period of the eventual PC release that's calmed everyone down, or something else entirely, the majority of people I've spoken to/witnessed playing have been far more positive. Lots of people seem willing to talk, and those without a microphone type on-screen. One guy got a little annoyed by the constant voice-chatting and I simply told him how to mute players. He didn't respond, and that was that. Hell, on that note, far less players shoot on sight on PC. Because so many people have microphones and can type, it's much easier to communicate, and the microphone clarity is so much better than console headsets. It's much easier to arrange a meet-up, e.g. hosting a street race or teaming up with people. So far I've had a very pleasant experience. The ability to type on-screen "Don't shoot, friendly!" has literally stopped people from pulling the trigger. I did have two guys chase me with AK47's, but I welcome that style too. I'm just glad it's not constant random killing like it mostly is from my experience on consoles. How has your experience been on PC? I haven't played online yet but I remember console was hell online... all the little console kiddies think every game and every thing is a deathmatch... couldn't even spawn without someone trying to kill you for no reason. No Zentornos; people drive a variety of cars with a more sensible taste and I've not been shot on sight by people. The only assholes Online are the ones who transfered. Me being a transfer, I'm a more friendly player who will host missions for others. Yes, the experience is refreshing. Even back in 2013 when GTA Online first launched, players weren't as pleasant.
