stolen pegasus vehicle during mission

sometimes when i'm on my way getting my hydra, another player might spot it and steal it from me.

 

anyway to kick them out of it? nothing worse than having a Pegasus vehicle stolen and not being able to steal it back, or at least destroy it..

I go to LS Customs in freeroam, not sure if that works during missions.

cant visit lsc during missions.

 

also the "go to lsc to kick intruder out of your pegasus vehicle" was a freeroam thing that was patched months ago

Whenever someone takes my pegasus vehicle I get a text message that it has been stolen, as such it has been de-registered as one and I assume you would be able to call another.

Can't call another Pegasus vehicle when one is still on the map. The only way that I have been kicked from their vehicle is when they leave the lobby, unless something else has come along recently.

you can call another vehicle like 2 minutes after receiving the stolen vehicle message.

Pretty sure the yellow icon disappears after getting the stolen vehicle text...

Yeah. There is no way to get it back if another player takes it, they get it until it's destroyed, you leave the mission or it ends.

 

You could ask them nicely to return it, or just be aware I can be stolen and only approach it if no other players are near (it will not appear unless you are near).

 

Alternatively be a bit quicker, hold down the 'enter vehicle' button if another player has got into it, and you'll throw them out and take it yourself.

 

To be honest, they probably don't know it belongs to you, and just assume it's part of the mission. They'll run and grab the shiny toy if they see it.

 

It's annoying, but it's how the game works.

With the last one or two patches, your stolen pegasus vehicle will be moved to storage after a few minutes, and the thief is kicked out or loses control. (typically suicide an a aircraft)

 

Before that patch out would not kick them out, but you could spawn another.

 

I had 3 tanks out at once.
