Ports/Configurations for GTAO PC?

Hello there,

 

I'm currently struggling to find a way to play GTA: Online on PC. My problem basically is that I'm stuck in extremely long loading screens and once I enter a lobby, it's empty. Can't join friends, friends can't join me, the whole mess.

 

Now, I've spent the last hours on research and it seems everyone has a different opinion, a different list of ports to be opened/forwarded (I still don't know the difference), disabling uPnP, enabling uPnP, disabling firewall, disabling virus scanner (have none right now) and so on.

 

What I tried:

-opening ports UDP/TCP 3074, UDP 61455 - 61458, UDP 6672, UDP 88

-enabling uPnP (it was disabled before) - both in the router as well as the local service

-disabling and re-enabling various configs in my network card

-disabling firewall

-virus scanner is not installed so this can't be issue

 

I remember that in GTA IV, I couldn't play online as well, "NAT type too strict" but didn't do anything about it and just left it, game was lame anyways.

 

As someone who generally isn't so knowledgeable in network technology, I'm totally lost with this problem. Even worse that every info I get on the web is contradicting to the extreme and I kinda tried every combination of things while it runs for friends of mine just like this, they install the game and boom, it works. While I'm sitting here wasting hours and hours with NO success at all - kinda frustrating.
