Not playing is the solution, it is working just fine for me after around 30 Days of no GTA Online or GTA V...Will come back to check out LS after the next Update, however Heists being particularly non user friendly pushed me away from the game and as they ate certainly the best Update so far, I do not have high hopes I will play Online much again.

If you are from NZ you should be able to order from AUS Companies for a reasonable price and with certainty your order will actually arrive...That said I agree, even through PC Case Gear which is arguably the best (service/cost) dedicated Australian supplier of bulk PC supplies, you will be spending $1000 AUS to get recommended specs which from reading the PC section, does not even give you PS4 quality game-play.

GTA Online is boring without friends. Get friends and this game becomes super fun!

LMAO, 1,200$ for a pc? You could have bought a good pc for half the money and have enough money for a console.

A good PC for $600 ????? No you could buy a PC for $600 that wouldn't have the same specs as a next gen console

Here's the Walmart 8 core PC that's close to a next gen console, without monitors it's $679

http://www.walmart.com/ip/iBUYPOWER-Gamer-WA583R7-Black-Desktop-PC-with-AMD-Eight-Core-FX-8320-Vishera-Processor-8GB-Memory-1TB-Hard-Drive-and-Windows-7-Home-Premium-Monitor/35119954?action=product_interest&action_type=title&placement_id=irs-2-m1&strategy=PWVUB&visitor_id=O_-Fk0OhFpBZtO102pTEoQ&category=&client_guid=74b0004b-cf4b-4f6c-82fa-e3ce4fd143d5&customer_id_enc=&config_id=2&item_id&parent_item_id=37550562&parent_anchor_item_id=37550562&guid=04a5636b-0b98-49f1-8b7c-f0b4a143b843&bucket_id=irsbucketdefault&beacon_version=1.0.1&findingMethod=p13n

That's the absolute bottom, add 2 monitors and your over a $1,000

But I wouldn't go calling console owners "Peasants" if I owned that rig!

In reality, $1,200 is a middle of the road rig, a step up from a console but only slightly

OT: OP why do you have a plane if you're worried about cash????

Gta 5 is the most enjoyable installment since Vice City for me. Take some other game and you have to pay for a season pass pay wall to get online. Yes, everything cost money, but you can access everything without paying for dlc's.

I seem to be the only one with no legit money problems. Since heist came out, I blew 26 million GTA$ on new content. But after the initial spending spree I earned 11 million gta$. Could have been much more if there were not so many borderline retards around. Just complete the all in order and loyalty challanges to earn 3 million.

The Pegasus and Mechanic fees are peanuts. Knock over a hooker or 24/7 store.

This is so sad imma cry lol jk gta online is about money 24/7 but that's just an emphasis on what real life is about, everything requiring money to buy and enjoy.

the GAME is based around money, an exaggerated mimic of real life

the pursuit of wealth, the obsession with money and capitalism, the american dream.....THAT is the concept of the game

not a gangbanger in the 90s, not a drug dealer in the 80s or an immigrant in the 00s

if you cant have fun in a sandbox game of this magnitude I think its down to you tbh

Okay, first of all sorry for my english.

As a devoted fan of GTA series i expected release of the GTA 5 for two years, even bought new PC for $1200.

I dont know how to clearly express my thoughts, but i tired of an infinite number of similar races and DM, and thats for to make some money because in GTA Online everything cost money... i feel no freedom, to die cost money, to repair my car also cost money, to fly on my own plane i bought also cost money... everything in GTA Online cost money.... i even should buy everytime new parashute because it is disposable.

Your english is pretty okay, especially for the forums, but your approach to this game is absolutely incorrect. It is hard to earn big money via standard DMs/Races without serious skill and you should stick to missions or user-created jobs, despite last are being criticized often. Anyway, doing heists only will clear you a serious amount of cash: just FYI, there is a reward to spend $8 mil on heist vehicles. With criminal mastermind challenge, you will be able to afford that and believe me, it is fun. Time consuming, yes, but fun.

Here are some points for you:

— Do not treat game like constant DM, because it's not;

— Do some missions from time to time;

— Do not try to buy everything as fast as possible. Believe me, there is no fun in that and I can say that from experience in billionaire days on Xbox;

— Yes, there is a property concept in this game and you will be in disadvantage if you will ignore it. Can't beat it, use it.

And your statements about money are beyond ridiculous. Death is $500, Pegasus delivery is $200, maximum car repair fee is $500. Last time I checked, Paynspray in every gta was not free. I never bought a parachute in this game, because after entering any aircraft you will get one for free. You can repair your car at your garage for free or you can just get away from it and order it back through the mechanic: voila, new car. As a social club member, you are entitled to one free garage for 2 cars. It's something. Basically, any mission that is done in more than 6 minutes will give you $10,000. After any mission you will get a repaired car if it's your PV.

Just imagine what if GTA 5 has something like SAMP or MTA, or even GTA 4 multiplayer? Can you imagine 1000 people have fun at the same time on GTA 5 map? Can u imagine hundreds cars go all over the map, scores of planes and helis in the sky above our heads, the streets are burning of crashes and fights.... but today in GTA Online i meet one person per minute... the streets are dead, there's no life, because everybody are on DM or races and making money to buy a house or another expensive car for putting into garage and admire in inside the garage and to make some screen to show his friends "look how many cars i have", but has no sence of having it and still has no fun.

Well, thousand players on the map is a bit hardcore, in my opinion. But you can enjoy 32 and in PC version this number will double, I suppose.

And about streets being quiet... Enjoy it, my friend. I'm day one player from the 2013 and believe me, it's going to change. What you described is the early stage of GTAO that is basically forgotten or even unknown by majority of players. There will be chaos on the streets. A lot of chaos. Right now people are accumulating wealth, acquiring firepower and polishing their skills in missions. Soon enough you will be spawn killed by fighter jets or attack helicopters. Better join the party or you will be forced to play invite only until you will be able to afford some firepower yourself.

P.S. The game is easy for new players right now: mission payouts are more than acceptable and you've got a lot of firepower that is not level-locked (horning launcher, special carbine, for example, are the weapons that you will find in my load out and I'm rank 318).

Back in my days in October '13 death was $5,000 and passive mode was way less advanced than now.

SAMP was great, made by fans for fans. Buying businesses, gambling, fighting for gang territories, roleplaying as cops, ugh, good times!

SAMP was great? Its still alive and active.

Lol at some people claiming they have PCs that can compete with the Xbone/PS4 for the same price. You need to spend at least twice as much to roughly match the specs. You also need to future proof the PC so it can keep with software advances.

Anyway, if you don't want to earn money in this game and play it how it should be played, then perhaps you should play SAMP.
The whole point of GTA Online is to work your way to the top by making money and buying things you like.
If you prefer power playing, then maybe this game isn't for you, especially if you don't find it fun.

Without a tv your console costs 350+. Oh, wait, you can hook a pc up to a tv too? Who the f*ck knew. Also claiming 1200 is middle of the road is absurd as well. Nobody factors in the f*cking cost of your 60" tv to a console so quit factoring that into a f*cking pc especially when it will work just fine on your tv. 1200 gets you something more than slightly better than a console.

Also op quit complaining. Half the sh*t you're complaining about is pennies. Complaining about 200 to fly your own plane or repairing your car which costs no more than 500... seriously? You get more than that for a little race or doing a mission. These complaints are inane.

Then don't play. Problem solved.

This isn't even my problem but it's these kinds of replies that infuriate me.

Seriously, that sh*t is not helpful and inconsiderate as f*ck.

OT: Be grateful and patient. You have a brand spankin' new PC and mods for V are on the way.

Yeah, you're bored right now but the slew of community upgrades will keep you entertained for an infinite amount of time.

Just wait awhile. that $1200 will be worth it.

SAMP is made by the players, so obviously it would have more freedom is that way, the only downside to this is it not being stable or have customer service or some shiz

and where is this free garage supposed to be??

there is no free garage in gta online!

only in story mode you get free garages for all 3 characters from linking to social club.

i think it was originally planned to get a free garage in online too and it was somewhere to read as well.

but the only thing you get for free in online for linking to a social club account is the elegy which you can order without paying.

And OP, no one cares about your computer, stop trying (and failing) to show off.

Free? What on earth is that? Not even air is free, you have to work for that as well. This game is a great life lesson. Most ppl are idiots, you have to work for money and some a-hole is always going to have more than you.

I can't imagine how many times I have played Titan or LS connection ...hundreds I bet. It's still fun with friends. When you desire nothing, you have everything
