5gb patch on retail discs of gta v?

I hear that 5gb patch is mandatory to download after installing the game through 7 DVDs.

 

1. For how long will this be done?

2. Will this mandatory downloading ever end because someone told me that it was because of the pre-orders.

3.If yes then when because then only I will buy the game because I don't have a fast internet connection.

4. I wish they include everything in the discs so that we only have to activate the game like in GTA 4.
