Rockstar Editor Export Folder?

There has to be a folder named 'projects' in the gta v folder in my documents.

However, you can't open them anyway. There are '.vid' files. You need to upload them to youtube, and download them back, and then you can actually open and play them.

Pretty certain VLC opens .vid files no problem.

 

Nope, I use VLC almost all the time, it does not open .vid files.

C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games\GTA V\videos\rendered

 

I think the AppData might be a hidden folder, so you need to change the folder properties first.

But the .mp4 video files are available there and can be used in 3rd party editing software.

 

I also heard that you can get better results by capturing (with something like OBS) the preview directly from the editor in a lossless format (no compression).
