Anyways if you look closely you can see how unsmooth it looks when I move the camera around. Why is this so common in PC games? On a console 30FPS looks buttery smooth but on PC it feels like it's skipping a lot of frames. I've tried playing around with settings but none of them got a significant performance impact, keeping a stable 60FPS is impossible in this game, there's just too much detail in some areas. Consoles probably look smoother because tv's are designed for lower frame rates, also a controller makes you feel more detached from in game smoothness (if you play a game at 30fps with a kb+m vs a controller you'll know what im talking about), and possibly because you sit farther away from the tv compared to your monitor. -edit- in that case maybe because the framerate is more stable at constant 30fps then? I have no idea. So either I play at 30FPS locked but with a slight input lag or I play with no vsync but with frame skipping.
