Dancing in DLC confirmed

What's the betting you don't get to walk around the interior, but get teleported inside the club for the duration of the minigame, then dumped back out on the sidewalk, with Franklin claiming he's not getting any drunker?

That would suck ass and they know it. Even in SA you could free roam around the club, but there were usable candy machines and video arcades. I`m not gonna complain if they don`t add every damn thing SA had at the same time, but they can start with dancing and enterable night clubs. Hopefully this is just the tip of the ice berg and lots more will come. If it`s released as a paid DLC on the other hand, it better be f*cking fantastic and have everything or I`m taking my money elsewhere.

I think everyone needs to calm down and bear in mind this isn't R* verified right now. This could be real, and if it is, it's almost certainly a tiny part of the DLC. This is not going to be a major element, just an activity, if, indeed, it's real.

I expect this will be one of a handful of new activities that sit alongside the new story, possibly filling in some of the 'missing' things that many expected - it's likely this will happen in one or more clubs, so we can potentially expect several club interiors. I was merely being glib when I suggested we won't get inside the clubs, we may well get a huge number of new interiors.

We simply just don't know at this point. But that's part of the fun of the anticipation, isn't it? Just whatever you do, everyone, don't start building up a super-defined expectation of what the DLC will contain, there's no way to be certain of anything at this point.

Signatures are dumb anyway.

The problem with these mini games, is that they've already lost their value as a fun activity. We've already danced in 2004's San Andreas, so what would another dancing QTE mini game, but with better graphics and animations, bring to the table?

It would add more interactivity with the world? A new interior since V does lack in that regard? Add more diversity to LS's nightlife? Just a few examples... Just because we already had this doesn't mean it can't return. I'm not interested in all things from past GTA's coming back but I wouldn't mind some features returining.

They will definitely add more interactivity to the environment, and I can't argue with this. The thing is that we're in a stage where there's no real change to say that the game, or even the whole gaming industry, isn't stagnant. I see that GTA Online is more of a substantial change than V. Rockstar almost brought the whole single player world to an online world where human players can interact way beyond the typical deathmatches.

Other than a new graphical identity and more depth to the world, what would GTA VI bring to the table to feel like a completely fresh experience? for this, I see that Rockstar would shift their focus to creating more believable and interactive mega online worlds (Red Dead Online?), but they would still provide single player experiences, only that they wouldn't feel as fresh as they were years ago.

Some experiences (i.e., 2004' San Andreas) can't be replicated. They just happen once and the rest just follows. This is the reality I've come to realize.

People getting angry about the content of a DLC that hasn't even had its content confirmed yet.

SMFH.

What else do you expect? This is the V section after all.

Most of us don`t want an entirely new experience. Guys like me like GTA because it`s a winning formula without the Online and think that the series reached its peak with SA. After that the focus has been mostly on the graphics and the physics, at the expense of that winning formula which was doing a plethora of fun side stuff. I just want more of what works, for me anyway. I don`t mind also having an Online feature, GTA is all about putting all kinds of things out there for everyone to enjoy, whatever your cup of tea is, with the main focus being on crime related activities. It`s funny how when you beat V there aren`t any criminal activities to do, except a few as Trevor, and it feels like an old folks` retirement afterwards. At the very least dancing would challenge that perception a little bit and I hope that a whole lot of other side activities follow as well.

'mp_' suggests to me that these are online specific, which could mean not in SP at all.

There's going to be some seriously hurt butts over this.

I understand that. It's evident by the financial success that GTA V achieved. It's just me, and anyone like me, that have have grown up to find out that we're still in 2004, only with upgraded graphics. I really don't have much fun with this anymore. Until I see a substantial change to the formula, something really extraordinary, I can't see myself really enjoying another GTA installment, unfortunately.

A game like Red Dead Redemption, which had an impact on me almost to the same degree of 2004's San Andreas, felt very fresh despite having the GTA formula. It was thematically very different, fresh and unique at its time. It served its purpose and I doubt that another Red Dead, with upgraded graphics and such, would have the same impact. RDR just happened once and can't be replicated again. You can't do another Breaking Bad and still get the same excitment as you had from the first show. It something happened once and now it's gone.

Man, V will end up flooded with minigames only or something of any challenges, side activities too?

V feels more like 'Grand Minigames' than anything else, nothing of any crime related stui

I remember that there were assassinations and some side missions for trevor to hunt people or kill them ........not because it doesn't involve with gangs or drugs and stealing houses like the previous ones...doesn't make it a less of a crime ..of course i didn't count the crimes and robing banks in the main storyline.

You might not be aware that there was a PS2 prequel to RDR, although it had nothing to do with the story of RDR it was called Red Dead Revolver and was set in the 1800`s, during the Mexican American war. I thought it was a pretty damn awesome game and then RDR came along and blew me away even more. No doubt it`s always possible for things to evolve into something better, I have no doubt that I will continue to be amazed with Rockstar`s games as long as they keep the focus on the gameplay and the story, and the graphics are only there to complement the first two. I think there are some very inspired visionaries working there but maybe sometimes the corporate side of the business takes over and they have to focus their attention to something less inspired and more lucrative, who knows. I don`t want to be a pessimist though, sometimes it`s a hit, sometimes a miss. Let`s wish for the next game to be 100x more awesome than the last.

How about some gang wars? Drug wars? Vigilante?

You know, things that people actually like?

why would be gang wars or drug wars if it has nothing to do with the main story ...........and why vigilante if the game was only crime related stuff i always wondered why is this in a gta game.

Trevor`s life revolves around drug trafficking - Trevor Philips Industries. Besides, I`ll be damned if I`ll have a D-rate story limit the kinds of activities I can do in a game.

Have you found a Tommy Vercetrain texture yet?

Anyway on a serious note, is there anything to suggest that this stuff is content for DLC rather than leftover files for content cut from development? Because I get the feeling that the latter is more likely.

A lot of this can be leftovers from GTA IV, early features they decided to cut or anything else. No need to jump to conclusions that it's a DLC and call it confirmed.

Two pages and nobody has posted about NGClan making the big ass fake North Yankton DLC rumor that everyone believed back in December 2013? Amazing.

Look through the PC files yourself then. I listed the texture file AND the RPF it's located in.

This is no hoax.

Good point! But "drug_trafficking" and "gang_attack" haven´t "mp" at the beginning. Wouldn´t mind if the other stuff is online exclusive if the SP DLC would include these two.

We´ll see...don´t wanna speculate too much at this point. As Dope_0110 stated above, it could be just leftovers.

I want hotcoffe screw the parents watchdog groups and the sensors. I want to put infernus Juliet fufu and nikki in so many positions and I want to use the left analog stick to control my strokes. Deal with it!

The drug icons are in the old gen version so it could be beta stuff.

Not sure about "mp_specitem_safe", "mp_specitem_package" and "mp_specitem_remote" tho.
